Hagan juegos buenos de una vez, en vez de sacar pura mierda
A game where the AI knows how to shoot and has actually a meaning to be in the game ? Hell yeah. But seriously though, the whole series is a testament to FPS games. Yes, the graphics are dated, but I think all the entries in the series can easily stand against the good old call of duty games. The AI is good, it can actually aim and cause damage. You can even sit back and relax on some missions, and the AI will just kill everyone eventually, or die trying (yes, in contrast to COD, the AI can die on Halo). It will just take them a while. Also the AI seems to have some depth. If you shoot them, they will say stuff to you, and if you cause mass casualties, they might even call you names and start shooting you. In general the AI is really really good, much better than what I have seen in numerous other more modern triple-A games. As for the maps, the levels are OK. Unfortunately there is a lot recycling going on, which is mildly annoying on Reach and CE, but it gets better after that. The story is practically non-existent in Reach and CE, but it gets massively better from Halo 2 and upwards, since there are several cut-scenes, and in general there is a whole story/lore behind all of the games. One bad side of the games, is that on some places the textures seem to be buggy or completely dark. This happens on several places throughout CE, Reach and Halo 2, and I found myself switching to the old version of the game for a few seconds (by just pressing tab) in order to better navigate the map. Probably those issues come from the very poor texture/lighting choices of the people that "remastered" Reach, CE and Halo 2. Depending on where you live, the cost of the game might be a burden. In my opinion, just save money from buying the next call of duty or battlefield, that you know that it's gonna be ♥♥♥♥, and buy the master chief collection. You'll get massive good quality content, for half the price of a modern game. To conclude, the game is really good. Starting from Halo 2 and up the story gets interesting, and you have a reason for which you fight, and you'll spend many hours shooting the covenants and the flood. 9/10 from me.
I am Halo fan since the first Halo CE on the Xbox. This Master Chief collection is really good! I play alot of halo games on my steamdeck nowadays.
Halo
Hey kiddo, Handsome Jack here... and I just played Halo: The Master Chief Collection, and okay, this is ridiculous. This isn't a game collection. This is basically an entire military history lesson where the teacher gives you a gun and says, “Go kill aliens.” You've got Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3, ODST, and Reach, all sitting there like a giant monument to the fact that apparently the people making Halo just couldn't stop making incredible games. The gunplay is fantastic, the campaigns are legendary, the music is phenomenal, and the multiplayer is the kind of thing that makes you say, “Just one more match,” and then suddenly it's three in the morning and you're screaming at some twelve-year-old named xX_Spartan69_Xx because he just headshotted you from across the map. And Master Chief? The guy barely talks, walks around in a giant green suit of armor, and somehow has more charisma than most entire casts of video games. You've got aliens, giant space rings, ancient civilizations, religious fanatics, parasites that want to eat everything, and somehow this one extremely quiet man keeps showing up and ruining everyone's plans. Then there's Halo 2. Then Halo 3. Then Reach. Kiddo, this is where I start running out of things to complain about. These games have incredible campaigns, memorable characters, huge battles, ridiculous weapons, vehicles, and some of the best music ever put into a shooter. Even ODST shows up looking at everyone like, “Hey, I don't need to be Master Chief to be awesome.” And that's what makes the collection so good. You aren't getting one great Halo game. You're getting years of Halo history packed into one place. It's nostalgic, it's chaotic, it's incredibly fun, and somehow it still holds up. 10/10, kiddo. Absolute masterpiece. I'd give it 11, but apparently we're supposed to pretend numbers have limits. The only real problem is that after playing this, I'm forced to admit Master Chief is pretty cool. Don't tell anyone I said that. Especially Master Chief. He'll get ideas.
Halo but when it was good
its fun for multi player and single player
tons of mods and great game in general
It has all the Halos from CE till 4. It goes on cheap sales making it very worth it. The gamemode selection to matchmake is top notch even if the remaining players are too dang sweaty to get enjoyable matches most of the time. The campaigns except 4 are timeless (I somewhat like 4's story but the mission design sucks in 4) and are fun solo or with friends in coop. It's a good game and I'd be here all day if I reviewed them individually. TLDR: Just buy this. Especially on sale as it's soo much great content for cheap.
