Lazy remake / remaster whatever it is. Wish I never bought this cash grab / engine demo. Halo runs poorly on UE. Physics are like Halo but it is just optimized very poorly. Don't get me started with the prequel missions too. They are such a slog and take forever to finish especially on multiple replays. Avoid this game.
Best game i have ever played. A+++ fully understand the lore of halo and this game fully represents it. Thank you game makers very much. I am personally so greatfull for your contributions to this society. The price is fully justified and to be honest very cheap. You can really ask a little more. Would fully understand. A++ love the lore
Excellent scenery and gameplay.

Halo: Campaign Evolved adds a fresh layer of polish to an already successful shooter. The voice acting is excellent across the entire cast, the graphics look polished, and the music and sound effects are top-notch. The game also adds three new missions that act as a prequel, set a year before the events of Halo. These missions introduce additional enemies into the mix and were genuinely fun to play. Skulls and Terminals also make a return, which is a nice touch for returning players. However, I can't excuse Microsoft's greed in charging £20 for additional weapon and armour skins, especially when the PvP portion of the game is completely absent. The always-online DRM and requirement to sign in to a Microsoft account are also frustrating for what is primarily a single-player campaign. It's good for a nostalgia trip, but that's about it. Personally, I'd wait for a sale before picking this one up, or at the very least wait for the DLC to be discounted.
This really is a throwback to my childhood. It may not have been the first Halo I ever played but I've still got a lot of memories with this one. The remake brought all that back. Whether playing by myself or with my squad it embodies the original perfectly. A few bugs here and there which is to be expected, framerate drops (as of 20th Aug 2026) do irritate but are easily overlooked when playing with others. Only complaint is a large part of the expectations for this game were the prequel missions with Chief and Johnson. I found them lacking in content that the fan-base were wanting from them to establish in an interactable media format. Overall though, I love this game and look forward to the further Remakes of the series. 7.5/10

I really enjoyed playing this remake. Looks wonderful, at times even amazing. Runs great for a raytraced UE5 game, It has some issues ofc, I ignored the new missions and the whole flame war. I have a decent rig so results may vary. 8/10 made me remember being a kid playing OG Halo:CE on PC
this is so awesome
