El mejor juego de mi vida, buena animación y buena historia
It has some positive changes over the original, like Captain Keyes no longer checkpoint resetting you, or making the Warthog finale make more sense. And also some negative changes like the additional cutscenes, like watching marines shoot down a doorway for 30 seconds, or the prequel cutscene where the Covenant can't hit you while you're only like 15ft away. Overall I think it's worth playing still. It's not the best Halo, and certainly not as good as the Original Xbox or 360 games, but I think it's better than 5 or Infinite by a mile.
WOW, an honest 10/10 experience! The original story given new life and fantastic combat! It really feels that this was made with love, that halo got the care it needed to thrive again! Coming from a LONG time fan, this scratched my halo itch so well that I only get from playing coop halo 3! Both the main game and the new missions are incredible! Worth every penny! If you really love halo, this will put a smile on your face :).
Solid remake. Smooth and fun and extremely nostalgic.
Faithful adaptation. Legendary difficulty still very challenging, and three new levels.
Its a good remake.
🎮 Personal Review Tiers 1 – Exceptional | 2 – Great | 3 – Good | 4 – Average | 5 – Bad Halo: Campaign Evolved Review Tier: 3 – Good
📌 Disclaimers & Context Completed 100% on Xbox Series X|S, with Steam achievements instantly unlocking via cross-progression syncing between Xbox and Steam profiles. This accounts for the low Steam playtime shown on record; full achievement stats can be viewed on my TrueAchievements Profile. ✅ Pros Stunning Visual Overhaul: What is easily the second-best Halo game in the franchise (behind Halo 3, in this writer’s opinion) has never looked better, boasting some of the absolute best water graphics and liquid visual effects seen in modern gaming. Atmospheric Flood Improvements: The Flood sections received fantastic atmospheric and pacing enhancements, making those legendary horror-adjacent encounters feel genuinely tense and engaging. Improved Vehicular Handling: Vehicles feel much better to navigate, especially in levels like "Two Betrayals". Faithful Balance of Changes: Strikes just the right balance between modernizing mechanical elements while mostly leaving the core original campaign intact. Fun New Skulls: The new gameplay-modifying Skulls are a highlight, offering creative modifiers that add significant replay value. ❌ Cons Relentless Enemy Spam: Enemy density feels completely over-tuned in places, resulting in insane levels of enemy spam that drag down pacing—particularly on higher difficulties like Heroic and Legendary. Rushed Cutscenes & Uncanny VA: Cinematics and voice performances feel noticeably rushed, often dipping into uncanny valley territory with strange, sub-par audio treatment. Weak Prologue Missions: Aside from Mission 12, the new prologue levels are a buggy mess that feel more like generic arena-shooter layouts than authentic Halo level design. Mishandled Cortana Direction: The re-recorded dialogue for Cortana is a disaster-class in voice direction, severely undermining one of the most iconic characters in gaming history.
🎯 Final Thoughts The vocal outrage surrounding Halo: Campaign Evolved is grossly overstated. Purists may argue that older releases remain a more complete package overall, but for anyone looking for a current-gen reimagining of a legend, this is a gorgeous, highly enjoyable, and fundamentally solid remake. Die-hard series veterans may rightfully take issue with the mishandled voice direction, rushed cutscenes, erratic difficulty spikes, and underutilized engine potential. However, for the average player wanting to revisit Halo in high fidelity, there is far more good here than bad. It gets a recommendation—just not an absolutely glowing one.
Loved every second of it. I don't get all the negetivity! It's a beautiful remake! would love to see more of this.

Great remake to the start of the beloved series. Keeps the story faithful while adding new dialog and cutscenes that update the games lore to the present. Plus tons of new features and even new missions!
