Love the game as a concept. I have no idea how this was approved to come out as it did, though, as if they couldn't create a more uninteractive experience. I don't mean players can't interact between each other, but rather why would they if the game is telling you that if you wanna be efficient you shouldn't. Any Myers who knows how to play will avoid real players completely until BL3, meaning the killer will be playing a farming simulator against bots with no sense of self-preservation, which means after a couple fully stalked kills he will spawn on top of you and kill you in a few swings. And the players are no better: you've got squads of Bobs ganging up on Michael. If that poor guy used his reality tear, he's completely ♥♥♥♥♥♥ 'cause he's gonna get bullied until he gets it back (in a big while). Also, when I say it's uninteractive, I mean Myers could just find you in the first 30 seconds of the match without any type of way of fighting back, RT on top of you, and kill you (unless you've got Lynda leveled up, which won't be a thing until later on if you want to start with the pocket knife, so you're forcing players to play as someone they might not wanna play as for this specific item), and then what? You're stuck watching other people play until you're able to come back, which brings me to the next topic: no tutorial for residents. People playing casually won't watch videos on how to play the game, so they will escape the first chance they get, leaving the NPCs to die. They won't call for reinforcements, so Loomis is not spawning unless you get the card and I still haven't seen where they tell you how much time you have to wait as an spectator to comeback as the police or what are the requirements for that to happen. Also, tell me why I have to not only look up information about the game that's not clarified, but I also have to look up phrases in Portuguese because, even though we have a proximity voice chat, and we can talk to each other WE CAN'T UNDERSTAND EACH OTHERS LANGUAGE not everybody is going to speak in Spanish, and not everybody in LATAM is privileged enough to access english, so you've got me picking up words through a translator so I can tell my teammates to give me the bolt cutter... I really wish this was better polished so I could recommend it. Like I said, I loved the idea, but if you're going to give me a game, at least make sure all the pieces work before launching it. Getting the priority targets killed because they won't escape even though they are not scared while the killer is on top of them—it's as if it was coded that the NPCs can't move if Myers is close. RT shouldn't let you insta-kill people but rather let you TP closer once they are fully stalked. It shouldn't be as punishing to use it either. Also, chasing T3 residents should give you a speed boost when moving towards the T3 target to compensate. If you're gonna make me trip, at the very least make me trip towards the direction I'm moving. Why do I have to wait 5 minutes in a lobby where I can't access to any type of info or customization to get a full party so I can finally play, if once I start the matchmaking they tell me it only takes three seconds. To the people that may be interested in the game, just wait until a sale comes; this isn't worth the price as it is. And to the devs, I want to love the game as much as I hope you guys do because this game has insane potential to get really fun. I hope my review could help anyone.
