Halloween: The Game

Whether or not you're gonna like this game is pretty simple. Just answer these questions first: 1. Have you seen the movie? If yes, go to question 2. If no, go watch it. then go to question 2. 2. Did you like the movie? If yes, buy the game and play the campaign then go to 3. If no, don't buy the game. 3. Are you hyped after watching the movie and playing the campaign? If yes, enjoy multiplayer. If no, hopefully you did it in enough time to refund, if not, give the multiplayer a chance. It might entertain you. Honestly as a die hard fan, I love this game. Even with all its minor issues. If you're a fan of the films, you probably will too. Its a lot of fun on both sides. Lots to unlock and level up. Massive fan service (no surprise there, its an Illfonic/GUN game). TLDR - If you're a fan and can part with the cash, buy it. Expect to have issues with framerates if you don't have a good PC as well.

if you're having super serious issues with performance (i am even on my beefy system), try turning down "Global Illumination Quality", and "Reflection Quality" to low or medium in the settings. this boosted my frame rate considerably i was getting 23 FPS and just changing those settings boosted me to 64 FPS.

This game should be in the dollar bin at walmart.

this game is like a toxic relationships, it's like i want it to work so bad, bud then my wife just comes home and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ beats me.

So far the outlook of the game for me is positive? I can't say it's like a masterpiece or anything like that but it's 'fun' and that's enough for me. It's definitely got the cheesy movie horror vibes. Some people say it's a broken mess. Well, one man's trash is another man's treasure.

After the latest update, playing as Michael Meyers feels like an introduction to being r cuckolded. His movements are like a bumbling drunk, he really doesn't pose a threat anymore. And as insult to injury, stalking has also gotten a debuff, any range while stalking makes the whole mechanic pointless. The game was fun, but at this point the game is basically rage bait.

Game is NOT ready. Crossplay is broken, 3 hours in ive played 3 matches. Civilian is impossible to play, without a decent team there's no winning unless you're Michael. Not anywhere close to what F13 is. Game will need a lot of work and optimization before its fun for casuals. Folks have figured how to play Michael efficiently and makes the game just not fun. Wait for patches and reviews to come up before purchasing.

Yet another game where you need to play with DLSS and low graphic settings just to barely get 60 fps unless you have a NASA supercomputer, because apparently optimisation isn't needed when AI upscaling exists nowadays. The survivor gameplay comes down to talking to NPCs (skillcheck simulator) and relying on the NPCs hilariously stupid AI, not to mention the crazy amount of bugs that come with it. The best way to win on Myers is to literally ignore players and just kill all the NPCs making it incredibly boring for both sides. The only time when its worth to kill a player is reality tearing right on top of someone and instant grabbing them and if noone is with them they just die, forcing them to wait for 20 minutes spectating unless they get respawned which is mostly RNG (and they cant even leave the match or they lose all XP). Kinda my fault for even buying a game made by illfonic and GUN, but surely they will update the game and not abandon it right?
