This game has some issues, I had a bug where while I was unlocking the cellar escape my character had an increase in fear, which softlocked me. However, this may be the first asym horror game where the killer is not incentivized to tunnel or camp, and the survivors being toxic and looping is not a big deal. Michael can 100% leave the players alone until end game and just focus on NPCs which is a very fun loop. My only major issue is survivors using bikes to stun Michael, I personally think if they crash into him they should get dismounted or have the bike fly off in a direction, but instead the survivor can crash into him, then can speed and move away before Michael can stand up. This does very little and Michael can just leave the interaction with this ghost mode but it just feels very...unfun as Michael. Make the crash more impactful for the survivor so that they dont just cycle crash over and over.
It feels similar to Friday the 13th: The Game, but with much better graphics. The jumpscares in this game are honestly one of my favorite things about it. It’s so much fun to suddenly realize that the killer has been right behind you without you even noticing. It reminds me a little of the feeling I used to get from Friday the 13th: The Game, because you rarely get this kind of genuine surprise in other games in this genre. The fact that the killer can literally be right behind you and you have absolutely no idea makes those moments incredibly satisfying—and sometimes terrifying. and I don't see what all the hate on this game is about, sure there is a few minor problems but the game is a TON of fun!!
good OG vibes love it
Fantastic game!!!
i want to give it a good review but man its so buggy. theres no way anyone play tested this besides the people who paid 60$ to do so. half the rounds are literally unplayable due to bugs. NPCS not escaping, crashing a bike and just getting a frontal lobotomy?? good formula terrible execution
Definitely isn't perfect but I am enjoying it with friends!
great game to play few little bugs but overall worth playing for 7 hours
At first, I was kind of turned off. Especially at that intro prologue mission. It introduced me to the jank of the game. But after you get into later single player missions, and start doing the mulitplayer...it starts to make sense how you are supposed to play. Just remember, Michael is a slow, stealthy, and a SHY serial mass murderer. You are not supposed to chase players all over up and down the street like Jason Voorhees or DBD. You go in the house, hide in the corner, in the closet, and go for the kill. It's more methodical.
