Halloween: The Game

Same problem with other IllFonic games. Once people figure out the meta and optimal playstyle, they game doesn't have much left. Basically have all survivors stick together and act a bully squad towards the killer. Not a lot of counter with this. Once you get past the initial "what are all the mechanics" it just becomes a game where you grind cosmetics that are not all that interesting. Like all the IllFonic games, this one will spike in popularity and fizzle out in a few months. They will likely abandon it and move on to some other project. None of their games seem to have a long life.

So, I wanna enjoy the game, but it keeps crashing and kicking me out of every game. I have it installed on an M.2 SSD, and I’m running a 14th-gen i9, an RTX 4080, and 32 GB of RAM. I’ve verified the game files like 15 times, reinstalled the game a few times, updated my graphics card drivers, and pretty much tried everything. I also have 900 Mbps download speed and low ping, so I don’t see it being an internet issue either. At this point, I’ve completely given up.

This is one you're gonna wanna skip (for now) it is RIDDLED with bugs and performance is TERRIBLE.

game crashes after about 5-10 min if your in a crossplay party. Not worth the grief. Refunded.

This game is very enjoyable, gives me those flashbacks to the Friday the 13th days.
