Pretty fun. Excited to see where this game goes.
BETTE than F13 but insanely buggy... I would love it if I could progress the story, but there is a common bug right now where people just cannot progress at some point.
This game is fun, gives me the same fun F13 did back in the dayl Bugs are apparent but that doesn't ruin the experience for me. Learning Civilian is a learning curve for sure but the devs are working on a better onboarding process for new players. All in all, a very fun game where you can laugh and enjoy horror.
A bit glitchy, but basically Friday the 13th with some added mechanics and a Halloween flair. Get it if you loved Friday, basically the same game but better.
Hraji spoustu nových her každý rok, ale takhle špatnou optimalizaci nepamatuji.
So far a fun Game. There are different ways to escape, different Things to do, Michael has NPCs he can kill and not just the other Players. And it even has prox chat. But i fear that people might start using to much Meta hard win strats in the future instead of playing so everyone has fun. Because from what i saw the Game might be unbalanced with all its skills and possible tactics. But it really can have this feeling of beeing hunted or hunting. If you embrace it this can be a fun Game. But If you just search for the nearest weapons and Go after Michael Like its Halloween Kills or hunt down Players instead of NPC, the fun could End rather quickly.
beat me
I went in with low-ish expectations due to what I had seen from various clips from the early access. tl;dr, not worth $40 or $60 US, $20+30 is closer to what I would've been more comfortable with spending. Not a bad game(outside of optimization), just for what it is, bit too expensive

The Good
Honestly fun overall. Story serves as a tutorial for Michael while (from what I played) retelling the events of the first movie with Loomis narrating and showing just Michael's perspective. In many ways Friday The 13th's(the game) formula is here for gameplay; as Myers can be stunned, he plays like Jason in several ways with the addition of needing to stalk players/civilians, proxy chat for both sides return from F13. While buggy at times, nothing that I've ran into that ruins the experience(that I've ran into in my nearly 6 hours of playing)
The Bad
If you play civilian, the game just throws you in with no tutorial; even if as a player that usually skips tutorials, a civilian tutorial would've been nice. The game is unfortunately unoptimized on PC. While I have older hardware, the performance I was getting was fairly bad with a mix of medium and low settings with DLSS set to performance(on a 1080p display)

Uncertain future
With the game being developed by IllFonic and published/co-published by Gun Interactive, based on IllFonic and Gun's prior work(F13), I doubt IllFonic will remain on the game going into year 1 on the game. As with Friday The 13th, IllFonic left the game little after the game's 1 year anniversary. Black Tower Studios took over until the game's end of content by a lawsuit over series ownership. Texas Chainsaw Massacre, another game published by Gun had Sumo Digital(instead of IllFonic) on the game from start of development to February 2024, less than a year of release; Black Tower Studios, like F13 took over development for the game. 13 months later TXCM had it's end of content+support announced
