Not done cooking yet. I waited a long time to buy in after the demo and I'd say I'm having a decent time. Its very addicting but certain interactions just sour the gameplay a bit too much. You can learn each one of them and play around them even beat the baron several times. If a guy swings a spear or any sharp polearm to the ground you may think its time to strike as he is holding a stick pointed at the ground and polearms favor a longer range. No they'll vibrate the spear under your foot until it gains enough "force" to shoot up straight through your armor and leg seriously injuring you. You can never have enough distance between you and a half sword greatsword as they will charge it through you using the vibrate through metal method once again. To clarify not the end of the blade going into an arm but rather getting chopped in half through a cuirass. Be wary of a pavise in any position. A guy wielding it with his hand is more dangerous but ive been sent to death's door by an ememy's arm pavise generating so much "force" glitching up through my armpit that it snapped my neck when it sprung out the other side. Got straight up scammed by the weaponsmith because they hate making two of the same weapon sometimes. Made the second one FOUR times after restarting for the last attempt and that wasn't even the first time I paid for a phantom weapon. I hate that guy. By far the worst part is the twisted wrist issue which is why I didn't get the game until this summer. I still can't figure out what causes it but sometimes your wrists break and the sword or more commonly polearm just starts doing whatever and your guy can't recover without doing some sort of limp wristed swing and/or switching grip then switching back which only works some of the time. There's a lot of fun to be had with this game but the collision system makes it so late game deaths/losses are 80% ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Cut through my joint armor cool. Cracked me in the head a few too many times cool. Right now im getting my shoulders fractured because my weapon ended up fused with the enemy's half sworded whatever. Or getting my half sword interlinked with their half sword like a magic trick with rings and getting cut in half because collisions build energy instead of releasing it. IF THE SCREEN IS SHAKING YOU ARE IN DANGER. SOMETHING IS CHARGING UP TO EXPLODE.
