Gundy

Gundy is an ultra simple 2D retro pixel platformer/shooter where you are in a cave with a couple of snakes, a gun, and a boss snake thing. Get the gun, shoot the boss, the game can be completed in around a minute or even less. The quality here is very poor. This was made with the godawful Godot game engine, which isn't capable of any real serious game design. This is bad even for a Godot engine game, it seems more like a student project than any serious, genuine attempt at game development. The graphics are laughably lazy. The game has locked resolution, no fullscreen mode, and just displays in a tiny ~1:1 ratio square window in the middle of your display. Controls are locked and the platforming is somewhat sloppy, although it does "work". While this is free, it's shallower and has worse presentation than mobile app garbage and web/Flash games. Impossible to recommend.
