Grounded

Buy with caution if you hate performance issues. It's a great game but it has serious stability issues. If you can overlook frequent crashes and constantly getting kicked out of multiplayer... the actual gameplay is great and fun.

My friends started playing this for the heck of it. I bought it long ago and never played, and wanted to try it with them. I got to less than 3 hours in the game and stopped. Why? Because of the problems I had, just in the starter area. I will take my time to learn stuff, no problem. But when you're starting a game, you don't know if a bug is causing something not to work. So I couldn't eat. I thought I was doing something wrong. The button was greyed out to eat. I tried several ways. I had a bar, and a huge amount of mushrooms in my inventory. Nothing worked and I died. I thought I should exit the game. When I got in, I was able to eat. That was kind of...unforgiveable to me. But ok. Let me play on. I didn't play more than a half hour when there was another just exactly like it, but for building. I thought I was doing something wrong. DIdn't have enough items. I'm still learning the game and was so stuck. After spending another half hour, I decided to exit and come back in. Was able to do what I had been trying to do. So I spent at least one hour of my 2.9 hours of play trying to do things that should have taken me a second, but I didn't know because there's a lot to look at and do, and I didn't think it was buggy. These problems that early on turned me off and I won't come back. The game has been out a REALLY long time and I thought this was kind of unbelievable these two bugs kept people from playing this early on. I won't be trying Grounded 2, either, because of this experience.
