Grounded series followed by Subnautica has become my favorite games. So much to do, so much fun to be had!

One of the absolute best survival games I've played. Beaten only by Subnautica, pushing Sons of the Forest down to 3rd place for me. Original and unique premise/flavor Good building Cute style that can be horrifying when it wants to Very atmospheric, good use of sound effects and music Good variety of gear and weapons In addition, there is a decent story here and some surprisingly good voice work. The characters you play are unique, and in a squad of 4 they will all have different things to say at different times. Keeps the game feeling alive. Often survival games feel directionless and empty, so I love a survival with a point. Grounded has that. The difficulty is customizable so you can chill or sweat as you want to. The feeling of progression is VERY good, with your power noticably growing over the game, making you ready for new challenges. There is a lot of attention to detail here, and the game is clearly made with love. I think the "binoculars" might be my favorite thing, maybe tied with the sound of bees snoring. If you like survival games, this is in the absolute top of such games, I'm hooked and happy that a sequel is coming :)
