Fun with friends where you can work togeather and share supplies. Including trying for the next level of entity, and exploring. Highly recommend to friend groups who want a fun and interactive, but not too chalenging game.

hoops is the goat

I spent 4 hours building 2 pieces of a base that should have been done in 10 minutes and more gratifying than it actually was. The progression is so sluggish and any changes to the difficulty locks achievements, which seems like a minor thing in hindsight but it's about the message of "you're playing this wrong." Maybe it's better with 3 other people doing the hard labor, but the stink of requiring other accounts just to play online is another mark against this game. By itself and design, it's a fine game, but the negative review comes from "death from a thousand cuts," and I find it hard to enjoy. Maybe the sequel fixes a lot of it, but I'm currently broke so I don't know.
