Neat little game. Harder than it looks, there's a lot of things to balance and a lot of red herrings.

"Green New Deal Simulator" is a garbage tier environmental manifesto, badly made with no value as a game, it's just political propaganda. Ironic people concerned with the environment choose to spread their environmental message through data centers and mass produced plastic computers. Anyway. What do you do in the game? There's only 22 cards, the game just whines at you that the world is being destroyed so you play cards that represent the mobile devs political agenda. Ugh. Whether we may or may not agree with the cause, it's my firm belief that politics of any kind has no place in gaming. It does no service to gamers at all for political or social agenda to be shoved down our throats, no matter which side is doing the shoving. We're here to have fun, not get indoctrinated. Because the primary purpose of this product is totally unrelated to gaming, this really just makes gaming worse, and does nothing to further the developers political crusade. This is one of those things that gives amateur developers such a bad name. This is a mobile app... it doesn't matter if this hit Steam Direct before the app stores rubberstamped it, or if it failed to even reach the app stores. This was made for the most basic of all gaming platforms, the lowest common denominator for gaming, and it needs to be treated as such... it won't provide a high-end PC gaming experience. That alone is enough to disqualify this from any recommendation. Nobody spends thousands on a high-end PC to pretend it's an iPhone and use their rig to play mobile apps and phone games. The game features really lacklustre 2D visuals (does the developer not know 3D graphics became mainstream in the mid-1990s?). Gamers don't spend thousands of dollars on gaming rigs and the latest 3D graphics cards to play 2D games. Even mobile phones and game consoles can do 3D graphics now. There's no excuse. Next is pricing and what value this has for gamers. This is "free" enough (not every "free" game in the "free" section is truly free, there's usually some hidden price tag), at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good, and the cost of a game is more than just financial, your time is valuable too. Despite having no up-front cost, this failed to appeal to the 130 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB shows this peaked at [b]only 11 concurrent players[/b]... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Given that this free game won't increase your game collector count, is it worth your time to add it to your library? Nope. I didn't have to pay for this, but I still feel like I got scammed. There are over 140,000 games on Steam, not every one of them is a hidden gem. I'm here to help gamers find the ones that actually matter in that sea of Steam Direct self-published mess.
