About
“Have you heard about this town?”
“A forgotten mining town with no gemstones left.”
“But at night, all of its people come together. Like in one single, strange dream.”
The hotel’s doors creak again. Midori, green earrings shining as bright as always, is ready to welcome today’s new guests.
This used to be a thriving mining community, but now, with no more gemstones left to take, it’s just a peaceful, boring countryside town.
There’s just one strange rumor going around. Every night, when they go to bed, the townspeople all have one, shared dream. And you know what? It’s a fun, amazing dream too!
Many visit the town just to experience that very dream, and for once, the hotel is getting new business daily. Midori, too, is always curious to learn more about the people who wander in the hotel.
Eventually, that curiosity will lead Midori to discover the secret behind the town.
There must be a reason if everyone is having the same dream at once, right?
If you want to join the receptionist on this adventure... sleep tight.

The main gameplay of walking to different NPC's to unlock different words for each dream is a bit simple and can get repetitive over time since it doesn't go further than go see X NPC or go fetch this item for NPC X. However, I liked the little stories each dream told and their parallels to some elements you see in with the town. I did like the concept of having interactions between daytime and nighttime, but it could have been expanded a lot more, since it again boils down to talk to NPC X at daytime, then NPC X at nighttime for example. What I really liked is the overall artstyle which is very charming and the music is solid at enhancing the atmosphere. Especially the last music you get to hear during the credits which even has vocals. There's also the ending: Every dreams leads to uncover a little about the town, up until you reach the finale. For me, the ending really made the game shine a lot more. I did wish we could have gotten to know the NPC's outside of talking to them for the dreams, maybe some activities with them or learn more about their own stories. So with everything said, this is very much a pure and simple but good story game, you should try it, especially since it's free and can be completed easily in about 2 or 3 hours.
Pretty fun! I found the story pretty flat; most of the character dialogue is pretty simple and just used to collect words for stories, and you often need to cycle through areas multiple times to complete the short fetch quests. But the graphics / design are incredibly crisp, I love how the game looks! I also liked the soundtrack, particularly the vocal track. Would recommend!
