Just got the game and trying to figure all the features out. This is early access and one of the few things I see right out of the box is that you cannot create 32 team league but I am thinking that this may come later. Another is that you cannot take control of the draft and that it is only automated at this point, again, this may be fixed in later updates. I do love the total control of making plays and the decision making as far as management is concerned. As of yet we cannot choose plays for our team during games. hopefully that will change in later updates. This game has a very high potential and can't wait to see where it goes from here. So far so Good!
I've tried so hard to like this game, 5 hours total play time just trying to figure out what the hell i'm supposed to do. I've tried following tutorials on YouTube but this game is ridiculously complicated and if you're not an in depth expert on football then you are going to struggle big time. There should be an option, at the beginning, to generate a functioning playbook (including running and passing plays) that can be tweaked and edited, just something to get started with, but you have to create the playbook from scratch, from an overwhelming amount of options. I've come back to this game about four times since I downloaded it on release day and I just cannot get my head around it. Total waste of money for me because it is now going to be deleted for good, i'm done.
Playbook editor sometimes won't let me select a player, and it took me half an hour to figure out how to properly make the QB hand the ball off. Game also crashed twice out of nowhere. Looks interesting and promising but I'm not gonna touch it again until it's out of early access and fully released.
I'm so annoyed and yet so excited about this game. Number 1 - It looks amazing from the tactical strategy along with the 3d model games. I can see alot of effort has gone into this and without even playing it I can see it will be a great game based on whats already in the market in this genre. And number 2 - It wont load up, just gives me black screen so have had to refund it. I will be keeping an eye on the game as i think it has alot of potential. Was very confused how this game is yet to latch on lots of other people with positive reviews because of how good it looks as i'm assuming i may just be one of a few experiencing technical problems. But will keep an eye on game maybe purchase in future and see if issue resolved.
