I'm not very good at the game but it is fun.
Super fun - I'm not very good at it, but I love a good platformer!

What a wonderful game, when i first played it, it reminded me of Castlevania (with the whip and animation), the art and scenery direction is also very reminiscent of that game. The music is perfect to keep you progressing. i was amazed when i could climb up and down whip (grapple) and use it to swing. It is a fun and frustrating game to play, very much like the classic NES games used to be but with infinite lives. Great game, definitely one to recommend.
This game is fun, but very hard, i got to orange but having trouble with the green swings. I finished one of the hardest challenges yet, which was get all 12 emeralds in blue level, and the results were: Time: 4:28 Emeralds: 12/12 Deaths: 50
I really enjoy the way I can use my whip to move throughout the game. I'm eternally grateful for checkpoints, and I like that there's a timer so I can see my progress. I also really enjoy the graphics, they're simple but still intriguing.
Good grapple mechanics, but it to boring for me Also no potion to change res or audio
The game is fun enough if you like extremely hard platformers, it will be right up your alley, if not look somewhere else.
I rappelled the first level in leisurely fashion and a passing consideration for the extra gems. The second level refused to pull punches, however, and after five minutes spent failing to acquire one, I switched my focus towards the clock and finishing out the game; this felt like the correct choice after being faced with the length and difficulty of each level's "final trial," which is a grand step up from most other areas. I'd like to imagine a secret fourth level opening in the absent space on the map once I collect all the chaos emeralds, but an hour of playtime with the normal ending will have to do for now. The game is pretty overtly focused on a single item, with the consequential moods and events that are probably the most abundant in gaming as a whole aside from Nerve beaters. This is a case where music is doing a lot of heavy lifting for the distinction between locations, as well as some other flairs like the map intro, color palette, and well-paced variance. I've been slowly working my way through Symphony of the Night, seeing as I have no point of reference for the series, despite it attaching its namesake onto the portmanteau-like genre with which I have plenty of experience generally and in Metroid specifically. I'll have to check the earlier methods of saves and checkpoints, since I believe that to be a rather pivotal element to what puts games within the milieu or not. Grapplania gets an A for A for Acrobat Archeology Girl Game.
