The traffic is off.
Every time I drive on a bridge, the entire left lane decides to pull into the right lane causing a traffic jam. NPCs leave their vehicles right in the middle of the road causing a traffic jam. NPCs decide to slow down/completely stop causing a traffic jam.
The car physics kinda tries to be realistic... but it tries so badly sometimes it's quite hard to maneuver at all. Some bikes in this game are basically unusable because they drift a lot.
The plot advances randomly while you might be busy doing something else or just trying to have some fun.
Big inconsistency in indicating what NPCs you may kill right away and what NPCs you can't kill until a certain moment. I've had many cases where I would chase down an NPC, try to get rid of them at once only to realise they're immortal and that I wasted my ammunition.
Random bugs in open world and missions.
I've had two-three cases where I would drive to a mission and as I drive I would crash against some invisible object in the middle of the road.
Just now as I was playing, I jumped onto a truck which then bugged, stayed in one spot for a few minutes and then caught on fire ruining my mission.
Aim assist is horrible on controllers.
The game sometimes wouldn't let me snap at another NPC even if I move my crosshair when I'm not aiming, trying to make my aim assist snap at another NPC but it would still snap at one NPC that's out of sight no matter where I look.
Whenever I try to maneuver and use handbrake, my camera would spin around like crazy.
Surfaces/Walls are also weird. For some reason, sometimes NPCs can shoot you through a wall you cannot shoot through.
I did remember this game in a lot better light than it actually is.
The plot and graphics are great, the car destruction is fantastic, but everything besides them? - meh...
