Glitched Out: Chapter 1

Esta entretenido un poco corto para mi gusto.

It’s free, so you generally don’t expect too much. The story segments made me want more. There’s a lot of running — and by running, I mean a slightly faster version of walking in this case. There are hardly any puzzles. There were only two, and they were more about gathering information/searching. However, in combination with the game’s other features, it gives hope that a lot more could happen in the future. As an introduction and tutorial, it’s very well done. It doesn’t overwhelm you, and the pacing is rather slow. There aren’t any real jump scares, which is fine since the game relies more on atmosphere. You constantly hear footsteps or someone breathing in your ear. It does make you a bit paranoid and subconsciously tense. I’m looking forward to future updates/chapters.

Glitched Out: Chapter 1 is a pretty good and promising story rich horror game, but that’s not surprising since it's created by super horror bro, a very good horror game reviewer and lore expert on youtube, but what is the story. In a secret facility located on New Earth, Lex an employee of the facility is in trouble, some incident has shaken this facility to its core causing a lockdown and to make matters worse is that many of the dangerous alien entities have escaped. Now this young woman along with her AI companion known as Chip must hack her way to freedom and along the way she and him will discover the sinister secrets of the facilities and the horrors contained within it. Now then likes, the story is really good like a lot of these episodic first episode stories, it gives plenty of lore, but not telling everything allowing you to piece together and make your own theories and conclusions, the story is also very engaging and I definitely love the world building it makes me excited to find out more about the facility and the world at large when more episodes when they are made available. The gameplay is pretty good like many of these types of games you have to walk around picking up objects and solving puzzles, but what keeps this interesting though is the hacking mechanic. You see with Chip being an AI he allows you to hack terminals/locks and you can play three different type of hacking mini games, it kind of reminds me of the fishing mechanic of dredge where the fishing mechanic changes depending on which fish or item you're getting.The puzzle/hacking mini games for the most part are pretty good takes a little bit of a learning curve, but you can get them pretty quickly, there is one mini game I didn't like but that's for the dislikes. The graphics are really good nice and brightly colorful with interesting designs, in fact the colors are so vibrant and almost kind of cartoony in a way it reminds me of the more recent Five Nights at Freddy's and Poppy's playtime. The levels are very good this facility feels both retro and futuristic in certain ways, it's just a joy to just stop and stare at everything and the level’s scenery also contributes to the lore with its posters and stuff. The monster designs are very good they're quite creative and feel realistic for an alien world without being too out there, plus when you meet them they come with a bio you can read. The characters we meet so far are very good I really like Chip he's adorable with a cute personality and funny interactions, Lex is also cool you can tell that there maybe more to her than being a simple employee, but due to her memory loss she just doesn't remember. The music is good definitely has plenty of nice tracks to listen too. The voice acting is also quite good not one voice actor felt wooden. Now then dislikes, well the game doesn't have any achievements, I know some of these episodic games don't usually have them; Poppy's playtime is a big one but still would be nice to have them. I also kind of wish that Chip had a voice too, but that's just my own personal complaint. So now that I said all that Glitched Out: Chapter 1 is a pretty good and promising story rich horror game, but that’s not surprising since it's created by super horror bro, a very good horror game reviewer and lore expert on youtube, it has a really good story, pretty good gameplay, really good graphics and just so much more. Honestly I recommend this game since it's free and I'm definitely looking forward to more episodes when they come out.

GAME SUCKS IS NOT IN FULL SCREEN IT KEEPS ON LAGGING AND I COULD NOT EVEN MOVE IN THE GAME I HAVE BEEN FIXING IT SO LONG AND I HAVE RAN OUT OF PATIENCE I KNOW THIS 2 YEARS OLD BUT SINCE I HAVE NEVER REALLY PLAYED ANY YOUTUBERS OWN HORROR GAME I DECIDED TO TRY IT FOR SUPER HORROR BRO MIKE AND SEEMS LIKE I CAN'T EVEN PLAY THE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ GAME SO NO HATE IT RIGHT NOW I AM IN THE PART WHERE THE PLACE IS ON FIRE SO IS LIKE JUST THE STARTING
