About
"Wilbur has a meeting today—one he’s been waiting for with a quiet, particular kind of anticipation. His fiancée is expected to arrive in the lush garden by his estate. In the evening, when the air fills with the scent of damp earth and faded blossoms, they will sit together on the bench near the dry fountain and, as before, speak softly, almost in whispers, unaware of how time slips by.
Very soon, he’ll say something tender—perhaps the same words he spoke to her last May, or the winter before that.
Very soon… the illness will pass."
"Glassy stare" is the first story in a collection of visual novels, united by a dark, mysterious world, intense emotions, and vivid imagery.

Albeit it being an extremely short story with no "real" gameplay, I was absolutely in love with the art style, oppressive mood and themes of the plot. It is definitely reminiscent of Edgar Allan Poe's stories, although I'll say there is something lovecraftian to it as well. If you're a fan of gothic horror please give this a try, it's free and very much worth it.
观感类似爱伦坡的《泄密的心》,短小精悍的恐怖氛围故事

Adore the artstyle so much however the writing felt a little superfluous at times and a bit flowery for the sake of it. I liked the concept but I felt like it was over while I was waiting for it to begin. Having it be a visual novel is a bit misleading and would've been better suited as a blog post or something. All to say it was a nice and quick read and I'm looking forward to seeing more!!!
A very interestingly strange game. Felt like i was in someone's mind reading their thoughts and very move in an uncanny way.
One Sentence Review: 4/10 Bird says "never more," he's paranoid, it's a 10 minute game Story = 👎 (atmospheric though) Gameplay = 👎 (option for choices, but I see none)
Great short story. Must play
