About
The end of an era, the dawn of another; the fall of a faction, the rise of another... The torchbearers shall shine upon the brave new world.
After severing ties with G&K, the Commander bid farewell to the past and chose to venture into the contamination zones. During their journey, the Commander encountered more and more individuals and Tactical Dolls. Each with their own unique stories, they became indispensable members of the Commander's team. The Commander, who only sought to complete bounty missions smoothly and earn a stable income, was unexpectedly ambushed during what appeared to be a routine transport mission. Far from the bustling vortex, it became clear that the Commander had been drawn into an even larger maelstrom...

Actually really enjoying this game I started playing Girls' Frontline 2 because I liked the character designs and wanted another anime game to play, but I ended up enjoying it a lot more than I expected. What I like most is the characters and the tactical combat. I enjoy taking my time figuring out which Dolls work well together and trying different teams. The combat actually makes me think about positioning, cover, skills, and what I should do next instead of just clicking through everything. I also really like how the characters look and how much detail went into the models and animations. It makes collecting new Dolls feel rewarding, especially when you find a character you really like. The story and world are another reason I've stuck with it. There's a lot of lore, and while I don't understand everything yet, it makes me want to keep playing and learn more. The gacha can definitely be frustrating sometimes, especially when you really want a certain character, and progression can feel grindy. But that's something I can live with because I enjoy the game itself. I also play Blue Archive, Elsword, and Mabinogi, and GFL2 gives me something different compared to those games. I like having a tactical game I can come back to and play at my own pace. Overall, I'm glad I gave Girls' Frontline 2 a chance. I came for the characters, stayed for the gameplay, and now I'm just enjoying building my account and seeing where the game goes. Definitely worth trying if you like anime games, tactical RPGs, and collecting characters.

I enjoy this game. The storyline is well thought out. The combat is good turn-based tactical. And, the visuals are pleasing.

I don't understand why or how this game is this good. For a free-to-play gatcha game, the depth here is insane... tactical combat? Excellent. Guncrafting? All the mods. Buildcrafting? Plenty. Top-down stealth shooter mode? Check! Rotating events with unique gameplay mechanics? Got it. Wanna take your military-grade weaponized t-doll on a cute date? Sure. Cooking mechanics with custom recipes, a literal cafe, water some plants, play in the pool, catch a scary movie, the list goes on and on and on.... did I mention it's free? Play the game enough and you earn all the in-game currency you need to progress. I usually don't like "anime games," I usually don't like "gatcha games," and yet... I'm HOOKED. 200+ hours in and haven't even touched the multiplayer.
