Inspired by the classic arcade hit Ghosts'n Goblins and fully created by the house music legend Dr. Kucho!, Ghosts'n DJs is a pixel-art run and gun side-scrolling action platformer set in a parallel universe in which the music scene is being dominated by fake artists and DJ’s.

Ghosts'n DJs is one of literally thousands of retro 2D platformers infesting Steam and lowering the average quality of all video games everywhere... and I'm not kidding. Searching for "platformers" on the Steam store page yields over 17,000 results! Is this one of the best of those? Absolutely not. At face value this is obviously a ripoff of Ghosts'n'Goblins which you'll remember from arcades and early home computers like the Commodore 64, only worse in every respect and targetted at zoomers, who will have no idea what an arcade or a Commodore 64 are, and featuring music from a literally unheard of hip hop music mutilator... so this godawful pixelcrap has the double pronged effect of making both video games AND music much, much worse than it was before it existed. Platforming is an old, mostly dead genre, and this lacklustre experience, while it doesn't have an upfront cost, isn't saving the genre... it's no surprise this failed to capture any attention from gamers in the era of immersive 3D gaming. This features really godawful pixelcrap "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks much worse than most other games because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers. Games like Terraria and Stardew Valley succeeded despite the bad graphics, not because of them. This is "free" enough, at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good. Despite having no up-front cost, this failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at just a dozen or so concurrent players, and now there's basically nobody playing it. Even though it's free. This is a dismal public reception, but it's easy to see why gamers rejected it. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough.

Игрушка средняя и играть в неё не оч удобно. Но попробовать стоит
honestly a decently refreshing game. It's way more old school than anything I've played, especially recently, but there's a lot of charm to that. You kill bad guys — what more could you want? It controls pretty well and feels pretty nice, too. good stuff :) (also the font is neat)
OMG! What a suprise! This is a PERFECT platformer. Obviously in the style of Ghosts n' Goblins (Ghouls n' Ghosts) but BETTER! YES I SAID THAT. The controls are crisp and excellent. The storyline is interesting enough to want to actually read what they are saying and the humor is great! The music is absolutely amazing and you will want to turn up the volume. I love that there are two different sound tracks to choose from. Nice touch. The game is very well balanced. Nothing seems impossible nor too easy. It's fun! YOU MUST PLAY IT NOW

too much difficult for me. It was a cool expereince, though.
Free and also great. Plays a lot like Ghosts n' Goblins but much fairer, while still being challenging. Fun levels to explore and powerups to find. Good difficulty options/modes. Modern setting and some fun weapons, power-ups and enemies make it more than just a clone of the G&G games. After playing this a bit with a controller, I'm gonna stick this on my arcade cab. It'll fit right in with the classics.
看出来梗挺多,就是按键反应不够灵敏。
Perfect game! Absolutely try to play it!
