Very repetitive but oddly addictive and somewhat relaxing due to its low-risk casual nature. I'd never expect to log 40 hours in this game, but there you go, I have.

An enjoyable game. Easy to play for 5 or 10 minutes or binge on for an hour or more. You dig down to the bottom of each asteroid / planet etc until you find the core and mine it. The game gets progressively harder, but you unlock buildings and crew, the latter of which you can level up. You slowly gain better drills too great game, well worth it

Geo is a space mining game where you represent a mining corporation that drills into planets, asteroids, and pretty much anything else that can be drilled into. The mechanics of this game are that you keep the resources that you drill into, each world having slightly different materials, the more types you gather, the more rooms you unlock, which can increase your resistance to the negative effects of certain planets, such as extreme heal or cold or give access to more pilots which give a variety of different bonuses. This game is huge, there's dozens of diverse planets, bigger they are, usually the better and more rewarding things they give. Drilling also grants gold, which can be used in the Explore section to unlock more areas, used in the shop to outright buy rooms or pilots, and also used with world cores (Gotten by finishing a world) to unlock the upgrade system. Each pilot can also be upgraded three levels, each level grants additional bonuses, from resistance against planets, or increased health, power, and speed to your drill. Further into the game, monsters also begin to unlock, most of these can be killed with one of the many power up crates the worlds have, that of course being dynamite. While there are many perks and positive things about this game, the main issue that I've had is that on the bigger worlds, my computer slowed down to such a degree it became extremely difficult to complete that world without dying from either monsters or my health going down from the planet's high damage output. Hopefully that issue is just me, but I'd recommend playing this game with a high functioning computer.

Es un poco de explicar cómo es GEO, es una mezcla de géneros muy interesante, desde gestión de bases, clicker, aventura espacial... Pero es un vicio tremendo. El juego está en inglés pero no importa mucho, hay poco que leer. Recomendadísimo.

It's fun

So this genre of video games got popular in the flash era with games like turtle toss and motherlode. Unlike those games geo does something completely wrong, it takes the simple gameplay with upgrades and makes the game SUPER grindy. I mean seriously you're gonna be doing run after, run after, run after, run just to get a SMALL upgrade. Oh and every run has an annoying unskipable animation and a weirdly long load even on an ssd. If you're looking for a "get money, upgrade, go further" sorta game I'd recommend either learn to fly 3 or steamworld dig 1 and 2.

In some ways better than galaxy mining corp in some worse. I recommend buying and checking out both games because both are great
