Some decent work on capturing interesting locations. The modern/folk twist is a little unusual, but not bad. I had some issues getting it to run properly on my Quest over link for some reason, but it's like better behaved on a native SteamVR headset.

Works on Oculus / Meta Quest 2. Good idea and interesting concept! You get to search through the workshop for various Russian folk culture items to know more about certain styles. Sadly on my Quest it looked a bit strange just as others mentioned. But not affecting playability

Игра "Game of Crafts: VR Immersion in the World of Russian Folk Art" – это уникальный и очаровательный опыт!
"Game of Crafts: VR Immersion in the World of Russian Folk Art" isn't a game. Real games require "gameplay", in the form of game loops and gamelike interaction, which is absent here. Rather than functioning as a game, "Game of Crafts: VR Immersion in the World of Russian Folk Art" is just a software application... A VR tech demo where you get a few scenes and you can throw some Russian folk art stuff around at it. For those unfamiliar with what actually makes something a game, a "game loop" describes the interaction and feedback a gamer has when playing a game. An obvious example of a game loop would be in games like Forza, where you drive a car in a circle. If you're faster and more skillful than the other drivers, you get rewarded for first place, and you repeat that test of your skill again with each race. Even open world/sandbox games like Minecraft feature a core game loop where you search for materials, use them to construct something, which rewards you in terms of increasing your progression and allowing you to repeat the next loop to get more and better materials. Those are game loops. This software has no such loop and no interactive gameplay/feedback. It isn't a game and it cannot be "played" in any traditional sense. Launching software applications in the "Games" category on Steam can be seen as misleading. Many amateur "developers" don't seem to understand the difference between a software app and a game (this should be obvious)! We should at least assume this is ignorance over malice, but it's still a non-game published in the game section. The correct process for publishing non-game software is found here: Steam Developer Help With Software Publishing It is a shame the developer failed to follow the correct process, as we now have this garbage software app taking up space in the games section of the store where it doesn't belong. When developers publish things that obviously are not games as if they are games, it pollutes the marketplace and makes it harder to find real, genuinely made games from game developers who did the right thing. This kind of store pollution makes it harder for gamers to find those genuinely games. It's bad for everyone. Without a game loop or interactive feedback, this is just junkware in the wrong section. It's a software app, not a game, and I won't recommend it as a game to gamers. While this doesn't have an up front cost, it wasn't successful on Steam Direct. SteamDB shows this only ever had 5 concurrent users (out of around 40 million visitors every day to Steam), and that only ever happened once. There's no other way to measure that than complete failure... there's over 130 million gamers on Steam. Nobody was interested in this.
