You will be prompted to and expected to give money to the developers through this cash shop to buy in-game goods so you can play the game.[/quote] "洪荒西行录" is one of thousands of nasty mobile apps infesting the "free" section of Steam, but it's not really free. This is yet another painfully generic Chinese browser/mobile cash harvester scam. A thin shallow game with stupidly inflated numbers flashing all over your screen and ringing bells to keep that dopamine going... but the dopamine only flows when you spend money. There's only a superficial game here. The game visuals and the game itself are incredibly shallow... think of them as the too-bright, colourful, thin plastic cabinet dress theme on a poker machine at the casino. That's basically what this is. So really, the mobile app "game" is just a veneer, a thin skin wrapped around a nasty, predatory mobile app cash shop. Putting that toxic mobile app monetisation aside... this is a mobile app. I didn't spend thousands on a gaming PC so I could pretend it's an iPhone, and I don't think you did either... this kind of mobile app has no place in your Steam library. There's no English translation for the this, but that's okay. The language of bad products is universal. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. In terms of public reception, this failed. There's well over 130 million gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at less than 100 concurrent players, they couldn't even break three figures, and now there's basically nobody playing it. Even though it's free. This is a dismal public reception, but it's easy to see why gamers rejected it. It's important to note that, despite this being such a low quality product, there's a number of positive reviews that all appeared immediately after the game launched, from suspiciously inactive Steam accounts that have reviewed almost no other games apart from this. Take the review score of this game with a grain of salt. All other issues aside (any of which would disqualify this from being worth your time), this is a game that relies on other players for it to be viable, and because there's not enough players, it's not viable. I can't recommend anyone downloads this, it's basically dead.
