You play as a little monkey on his quest to find the fallen star he saw the night before. Interact with other animals and solve cute puzzles. It's short and free, give it a try.
I want to talk to rocks too...
90 minutes of just chillin' with cute animals in a colorful forest. After Monkey (no, not the one played by Jackie Chan in the hit animated movie Kung Fu Panda, why would you even ask this?) witnesses a star crashing somewhere in the nearby forest, it decides to find it because it would make a great decoration for its home hill. The story is goofy and funny. Cool humor and the dialogues between the animals are just nice to read through. The game features different endings depending on if you've found the star on your own or with a companion. It also has some in-game achievements awarded for specific actions, such as being social, collecting nice things or murder. The story takes you through a few locations in the forest. You meet many different animals and solve their problems along the way. The game plays like a classic RPG Maker title, but there is no actual combat. Although some actions hurt your health bar, that you will need to replenish with food, this is more of a puzzle game, requiring you to give specific items to animals, befriend them or maybe scare them away. There are often multiple options to approach problems - you can be nice, you can be mean, you can also be a felon. If you find someone too problematic - well let's just say that it's the law of the ju- forest here. There is also an xp system, but it mostly exists to restrict your actions at the beginning of the game, so you don't wander off and complete it too fast. There is like 5 levels really. The game features simple, but charming pixel art. I love the designs of the animals, they look cute and goofy. The music and sfx are chill and cool. I'd say you can experience every ending and do every achievement in around 100 minutes. A one-evening-esque game that's a good palette cleanser between bigger titles, or for someone who just doesn't have a lot of time on their hands these days.

It's a short and charming game. I definitely would have paid a couple of bucks for it.
Adorable little RPG with multiple endings! Achievements don't work on Steam though
Before I played Forest Star, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
Short, sweet, simple, and delightfully fun!
it's been a while since I actually played this, but I think it was pretty fun.
Короткая расслабляющая инди-игра о поиске упавшей звезды, дружбе зверушек и неоднократном прохождении, если есть желание выбить внутри-игровые достижения
