Forest Star

Очень милая игра! Порадовала возможность получить разные концовки (хорошие они или плохие определяет сам игрок). Много диалогов, которые зависят от компаньона и нашего выбора. Удобное управление (играл на геймпаде, поэтому всё было прелестно), приятное музыкальное сопровождение, очаровательная мультяшная графика и прописанные персонажи. Каждая концовка в игре занимает слишком много времени, даже сохранения в каких-то местах отнюдь не облегчают игру. Напрягает, но если игра зашла, то терпимо) Скоротать время за игрой можно, но мотивация была бы куда сильнее, если бы каждая ачивка в самой игре давала ачивку в стиме (любители идеальных прохождений засели бы надолго)

[h1]A charming RPG Maker game[/h1] [b] Forest Star [/b] was crafted for a game jam, giving insight into its scale and creativity. Apparently it won a 3rd prize there, which at least according to my time with the game is well deserved. Unlike a typical RPG Maker game, [b]Forest Star [/b] doesn't feature any combat; instead, it relies on character and environmental interaction, a feat it accomplishes exceptionally well. The interactions are delightful, and the choices resonate, keeping you invested until the very end. The game also boasts an in-game achievement system, encouraging multiple playthroughs to explore different paths and endings. My 5 years old also played it (with me reading all the text) and while thoroughly enjoyed the experience, she cried quite inconsolable at the ending. There wasn't anything partially sad at the ending and when I asked her what's the matter she couldn't quite explain it. Perhaps it was the lengthy game session (for her age (slightly over an hour in her case)) or the fact that certain choices unexpectedly lead to dire consequences for some characters played a part. Most likely, it's a combination of both. Therefore, the game might be better suited for slightly older children, maybe 7 and above.
