It was great when it came out, getting neat updates and such some I liked, some I didn't like but as with any game. But it seemed to be abandoned not long after 1 or 2 years maybe? But ya, totally abandoned now and definitely feels unfinished in game play too.

Folk Tale had some really interesting ideas; mixing a city builder with RPG elements was something I was genuinely excited to play. While the game is buggy and feels empty in places, with several buildings and gameplay features clearly missing, the foundation is actually quite solid. It's a real shame we'll never see what it could have become, since the game was abandoned in early access back in 2017 and eventually removed from the Steam store in 2020. Buying an early access game always comes with risks; you're basically agreeing to buy the game as-is, with no guarantee it’ll ever be finished. I can accept that. What really bothers me, though, is how the developers just disappeared without any explanation or final update! They even went as far as changing their company name.
