Flinger Tactics is a turn-based strategy sports game where you fling your team of cute creatures to victory! The sport of Flingball is played like a combination of billiards, air hockey, and soccer where you'll fling athletes to break bumpers, tackle opponents, and score goals!
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. Copies below reflect the player base, not paid sales.

Not a bad game! Could use some extra game play features though.
a good game
"Flinger Tactics" is a rather mediocre finger swiping game (apparently intended for mobile app stores but doesn't seem to have made it there... Google and Apple have QA departments) that's incomplete, and that's understandable, but it's better when developers ask "Is this a good idea?" before they start developing a game, and not halfway through and after throwing it into Steam Early Access where it's promptly ignored by everyone. Because it's a bad idea, implemented badly. The developers abandoned this 5 years ago. It will never be completed. This unfinished game is just polluting Steam and making it harder for gamers to find genuinely, completely made games. The game features really lacklustre 2D visuals (does the developer not know 3D graphics became mainstream in the mid-1990s?). Gamers don't spend thousands of dollars on gaming rigs to pretend they're mobile phones or Commodore 64s. Not every "free" game really is. There's often MTX, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of things that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to themselves, and the gaming industry, and should be applauded. Of course, just because something is free, doesn't necessarily mean it's valuable. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 7 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough.

The game has a few bugs right now. I was playing with 8 bumpers and somehow launched a player outside of the arena and into the stands. Next thing I knew the one puck that I had in the game had vanished as well. I guess this is why 2 pucks are suggested by default lol. Anyways, it's a fun game that I'd definitely play with friends or even just against the AI from time to time. Check it out, this game has potential to be the next laser league.
Excellent. If this improves with team modes, field modes and other ball field modes, this can become an instant classic.
very fun 10/10 would play again
Pretty Fun! Some things cropped up, but not too bad. A few bugs that appeared made the game unplayable though. Esp in tournament matches, I've experienced times where my players disappeared one by one after play rendering me with no way to continue, times where the opposition team had to start first but nothing happened, times where my team was frozen, usually with accompanying error messages. I thought that it would be neat to have things like preferences saved, hints and tips or tutorials so players know what are the boundaries and rules, what each shape meant, score board history etc.
