About
In this story-driven survival visual novel, you play as Lennox, a man navigating a collapsing society consumed by a fast-spreading, flesh-transforming infection inspired by the horrors of SCP-610. Victims don’t simply die — they mutate into expanding, writhing masses of living flesh that continue to move, reach, and hunt. Food is scarce, trust is fragile, and anyone you meet might already be at the edge of transformation.
Travel with your wife Horu, your younger sister Alora, and the aspiring scientist Axton as you search for safety, supplies, and the possibility of a cure. Every encounter forces you to make difficult moral decisions that directly shape the fate of your group.
Help strangers and risk bringing the infection closer, or abandon them to keep your loved ones alive. Watch relationships strain under fear, jealousy, and desperation. Witness forgiveness, sacrifice, and the tragedy of watching someone you care about slowly become part of the crawling flesh.
Your journey eventually brings you to the origin of the outbreak — a failed experiment meant to cure disease, now a fountain of self-spreading tissue reminiscent of SCP-610’s “Flesh That Hates.” Uncover the truth behind the mutation, confront personal conflicts within the group, and attempt a desperate scientific breakthrough that could save humanity… or accelerate its extinction.

Admittedly, it's disappointing. The dialogue is clunky and unnatural. There's a tendency for characters to repeat each other's names much too often, even the usage of pet names between Len and Horu feels overdone. There's an issue of redundancy as well. Characters will say a line then say the same thing, but worded slightly different. It honestly does feel "generated" sometimes. The story has to be rushed because we're kind of jumping from to thing with very little cohesion. Character motivations and dynamics are unclear. The character's just kind of DO THINGS with very little or no indication of why. Like, WHY do Horu and Ax end up shagging when they just met? There's no buildup, no indication, it just happens. Same goes for Seira and Len. WHY does she like him what has he done to have her affection? What does she like about him? Why does Len switch up, I know he says that he's thinking about her but there was very little indication of mutual affection before the end. At the end it feels more like a rebound and a way for him to force his deranged affection on someone. There's also an issue where if you change the settings the window resets to 1280x720 Art's great, I still love the palette, the music's fine. I do feel regret for buying, mostly because I was expecting more substance and sauce. This is just me, but I don't like the NTR, nor how it becomes the big thing. At the very least it could've been more built up so I can find it more understandable and palatable. I did not like the apology BJ either. There should've been an option to pull her off cuz eww🤮 My final question: Is that the same Horu from ACM? Is there a multiverse of Horu or is she a species? Overall: 4.5/10
Purchased because I love this developer, but man, this game is just not it. NTR in the first minute, then the game doesn't give you any meaningful choices other than ones that either end the game or let you keep playing. Idea was great, but something I can click through in under an hour isn't worth the price. ++ ART, DESIGN -- STORY, NTR
Fleshbreak is a visual novel that fails in both the visuals and the story. The game primarily focuses on 4 characters that spend most of the game in biosuits so it’s hard to tell any of them apart. The actual monsters are just blobs with eyeballs, and the backgrounds are just generic buildings. Other characters that are infected just have dark spots with eyeballs on their skin but that’s pretty much it. Horubrain has made amazing character designs in the past so it’s pretty disappointing to see such generic designs in this game. The story is absolutely dreadful to get through. The only two ways it conveys conflict is by either someone dying, or someone cheating on their partner, two very extreme methods that it’s constantly shifting between without any actual build up to them. One of the characters gets infected and is killed less than a minute later, someone catches their wife sleeping with another man and forgives her almost immediately. None of the characters talk or act like regular people, they keep giving these grand speeches about their feelings or what they need to do and their emotions change to whatever is needed to move the story forward. The choices are also pointless since if you make a ‘wrong’ one you get an instant game over and are brought right back to the ‘choice’. There’s also several NSFW scenes, but they’re for a very specific type of fetish and if you’re not into it there’s nothing you can do other than click through them. The actual SCP is barely a threat in the game. You could replace them with zombies or a generic virus and it would change nothing, not that it matters since they only appear in a handful of scenes for some quick conflict. I’ve seen the devs make some amazing games in the past, but this one felt so rushed and unfinished and was extremely disappointing.
I really liked ACM and the dev. But this game just wasnt it. The story while intresting at the start, quickly fell flat. With characters, make choices without really knowing why. The art style is nice and I do really want to like the game. But the story holds it back too much. Which is a shame as it has promise.
I've played a lot of weird visual novels, a lot of them NSFW. But I can't recommend this game, it might be one of the worst I've ever played. Barely a minute in you get a potential sex scene, then you find out later on that your wife is cheating on you? I honestly just stopped there. I don't care about cheating in games and stories, but it felt random. The dialogue isn't great and sometimes feels even AI generated.
trash game refunded becouse of NTR CHEATING
I'll be honest, been looking forward to this game for a hot minute now It kinda disappointed me, it's at most like an hour of gameplay with how quickly I read, and the inescapable NTR also just felt unneeded, or well, it was kinda a turn-off. Overall, it's not even a bad game, it just fell flat due to unfortunate circumstances, I can't confidently recommend it though. Maybe if more content gets added and stuff gets more fleshed out (no pun intended), i'll return to the game, but until then, it's leaving the library. Absolutely love the two Coffee Machine games, but this did not live up to my personal hype if i'll be for real... I do think someone would enjoy this, but for me, it stopped being fun the second i saw that early ''you cleared the game'' screen or whatever, but i wouldn't recommend it personally, especially to people whose first interaction with Horubrain is this game.
