FINAL FANTASY XVI

I wanna preface and say that this game does NOT run well, I spent a good long while trying to get this game to run acceptably and had to rely on frame gen and constantly restarting my game to make it playable. Despite that I enjoyed this game. I don't think it's one of the best final fantasy games but it's definitely high quality and it was good enough for me to want to sit through and complete it and it's DLC. FFXVI is a game i'd say is more style over substance. The story has some merit but I think it has it's issues and isn't really a game I'd go into for the writing alone. But I think what this game exists more for is HYPE MOMENTS AND AURA. The giant cinematic kaiju boss fights are honestly really cool. I think the action has something to be left desired but it's not that bad, It's pretty mindless fun. If you want a pretty fun casual ACTION game I think this game is pretty good. But if you're looking for more substance there are other final fantasy games that fill that role better.

Platiné le 29/07/2026 Etant un grand fan de la saga, ce n'est pas du tout mon opus favoris mais je l'apprécie tout de même bien. La formule est certes différentes, très orientée action, mais le gameplay (bien que perfectible) est agréable tout au long de l'aventure. Un peu épique, puissant, on en prend plein les yeux mais en contrepartie le scénario reste assez simple, sans réelle deuxième lecture, avec tout de même des personnages attachants.
