Honestly bit high for what it is, but it's a good game. Shame they left out the content the PSP remake added. The voice acting is a great addition, but the delivery of the lines can feel a bit odd sometimes. I think the VAs got too caught up in the accents that they lost the direction sometimes. Was also expecting the graphics to be touched up a bit more. Like a toggleable backdrop/curtain battle back instead of the battlefield chunks floating in a solid color would've been welcome. But it is an improvement and faithful to the original. And I'd have been okay with an even easier difficulty. It's been years, but the easy mode feels just as rough as the ps or psp version. Mob battles are easy and can fast forward & auto through them, but it's really just for leveling jobs, earing jp, learning abilities and unlocking new jobs. Everything scales up in level with you. Money is easy to come by. Best equipment available from the shop is quite affordable. Game doesn't let you crutch on grinding much unless you do a lot. This tactics game makes you use tactics.

Excellent remake from a classic. Fully voiced, some QoL features, and it is a fun tactics game. If you don't mind a bit of grinding job EXP, this game is very fun and rewarding.

This game is ridiculous with its skill ceiling, even on the easiest difficulty I get wiped out in chapter one. I tried following some of the basic guides, getting JP boost skill, trying to keep characters evenly leveled, best purchasable gear and I still die. I only regret I played for more than 2 hours to not refund it.

I've played every version of FFT since the PS1 release and this one definitely feels the best. I've been enjoying the remastered version, but it was great to see they included a more vanilla option as well in case I want to fully drown myself in pain and nostalgia.
