FINAL FANTASY TACTICS - The Ivalice Chronicles

I was born and placed on this good earth to play this game. I've played the original PSX version on it's release (bless my two cousins that formed and shaped my taste in gaming, as dotard and imprudent as they are now), the War of the Lions on the PSP, the Android version of it as well, and now The Ivalice Chronicles on Steam and Switch. This game is without a doubt THE masterpiece, out of all forms of media, for me. I feel no obligation to even praise it because there's no point to it, it's just that good. The quality of life additions they added in the TIC version, such as fast forward and reloading, and the superb voice acting alone merits the purchase of this remake. The voice acting... beyond excellence, it adds so much more depth and emotion to an already flawless story. Now, my only wish is that they add Rendezvous and perhaps the other postgame battles they had in the War of the Lions, and maybe even new, original endgame content. Having the option of Dark Knight and Onion Knight would be welcoming too. I've always dreamt to be able to fight through excruciating battles to put my hundreds of hours of meticulously geared up and built team to some true challenges. I fear having just Rendezvous would no longer be able to satisfy my needs... I've done enough Lordly Robe farming on the PSP version as it is. Although it would be a joy to pound that army of ragtag milksop rabbles of Argath/Algus in that one particular stage once more. Perhaps... a day when Yasumi Matsuno returns to work with Square for a sequel to FFT? Detailing the events that Ramza, Alma, and Agrias experienced in faraway continents, as Matsuno had roughly sketched over a decade ago? Quelling tyrants' unjust rules and leading rebellions...? Or a prequel even, delving into the events of the Fifty Years' War, where a young Barbaneth Beoulve and Cidolfus Orlandeau at their prime reigned terror upon the foes of Ivalice? A man can dream... but until then, I'll be maxing out my Speed and Magick stats to 99, in hopes of future content updates...

graphics sucks, i thought this was remade with better quality graphics.. but it same as old version... game play is very slow, like action of attack or spell cast, or counter move,, all very slow turtle speed... there no options to not show exp/jp gain.. so when u tryin to speed up game play,, these exp/jp popin up every move sucks. all in all, play the old Wotl version.. dont spend money on a this.. it not even any better.. only thing diff is the voice action with all the characters..

Um dos melhores final fantasy que já joguei em toda a minha vida. História genial, do começo ao fim, personagens cativantes e talvez um dos melhores antagonistas da série. Mesmo não sendo da linha principal, se tornou um dos meus favoritos! 10/10

Masterpiece atemporal, jogar isso aqui denovo com todos os upgrades de QOL e com voice acting foi fascinante. Delita é um dos personagens mais complexos e bem escritos de todos os tempos. Pragmastismo x Idealismo. Os fins justificam os meios?

At times it can be boring, even frustrating. The gameplay and the story won't truly reach their peak until the player invests themselves in it. But what's on the other side of that hump is a game that deserves it's reputation. Tactics is every bit the masterpiece people say. In some regards it's still unrivalled all these years later.

It's a great game but you definitely need to have some patience at the beginning with it. Once you start leveling up and purchasing better armor and weapons it starts getting really fun and it grows on you. I suggest taking your time and exploring everything such as the job and zodiac systems as those will help you out a lot. The story and lore is also really interesting. I just started learning more about the world by reading about the characters and locations and I find it really fun and not too overwhelming. The taverns also have rumors for you to read which is a nice little touch. I have not finished the game yet but wanted to write a review - in case my opinion changes I will update this.

Maybe the best Final Fantasy game Definitely a great story and one of the best voice overs of any game EVER to support it Combat is fun and challenging, all while the game respects your time with many QoL features that just feel good The job system is absolutely awesome

워낙 유명하고 다른 분들 추천이 있길래 구매해봤습니다. 한글이랑 풀 더빙이라 괜찮았어요. 근데 다만 이 게임 오래된 게임을 리메이크 해서 그런지 전투에 최대 5명만 참가 가능하더군요. 문제는 다른 케릭을 키우려고 하거나 하려고 해도 노가다 아니면 시간도 오래 걸리고 좀 더 다양한 케릭터가 없는게 단점이라면 단점입니다. 그리고 스토리는 개인적으로 주인공 행동이 많이 답답합니다. 또한 뭔가 중간 중간에 스토리가 누락된건가 생각이 들 정도로 끊겨서 진행 되는 부분이 많습니다. 특히 마지막 엔딩은 저의 경우 스토리가 더 있지 않을까 했는데 갑자기 엔딩이 나오길래 황당하더군요. 거기다 엔딩 이후에 에필로그도 그렇고 갑자기 왜 이렇게 진행이 되지 하는 부분도 많았어요. 추억이 있는 분들은 해봐도 괜찮을 것 같아요. 근데 5명 출전, 그리고 가끔 불합리한 판들도 많고, 쉽게 추천하기 애매합니다. 중간에 현타 온적도 많아서 꾸역꾸역 중간 노가다 하고 엔딩 봤네요. 참고하세요.
