FIGHT LIKE HELL is a fast-paced FPS where relentless gunplay, fast weapon switching, and good strategy turn every fight into pure (un)controlled chaos. You are the Destroyer, a human soldier now wielding Hell’s abandoned technology after the Devil's defeat in Hell.
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. The player count below is how many people own it, not what they spent.

FIGHT LIKE HELL is a fast paced FPS that I found pretty enjoyable once I got used to how aggressive the combat wants me to be. The game puts me in the role of the Destroyer, a human soldier who ends up using abandoned technology from Hell after the Devil has been defeated. The story is mostly an excuse to throw me into chaotic arenas, but I liked the strange combination of hellish ideas, colourful voxel visuals and fast multiplayer combat. The combat is easily the strongest part for me. The game currently focuses on one versus one fights, and I have to keep moving rather than standing still and trading shots. I can carry multiple weapons and switch between them quickly, which makes the gunplay feel much faster than a basic arena shooter. I enjoyed learning when to swap weapons and when to keep applying pressure because even a small mistake can give my opponent an opening. The Lighthook is another mechanic that I really liked. It lets me grapple around the arena quickly, giving me a way to reposition or escape when a fight starts going badly. I can also use stealth equipment to temporarily disappear from the immediate danger. These tools make movement just as important as shooting, and I found myself thinking about where I could move next instead of simply concentrating on the enemy in front of me. I also like the unusual loadout system. There are weapon slots as well as equipment slots, and the extra T slot lets me bring another weapon or another piece of equipment into a match. That gives me some freedom in deciding how I want to approach a fight. I enjoyed experimenting with different combinations because the game rewards me for understanding what each tool is good at rather than simply relying on one weapon all the time. The biggest issue is that FIGHT LIKE HELL still feels very early in its development. The current version is focused heavily on one versus one multiplayer, so there is not a huge amount of content or variety yet. The developer has plans for additional modes, more weapons, character customization and a single player campaign, but those things are not the main part of the current experience. I definitely wanted more after playing it, especially because the combat has enough potential to support a much larger game. The presentation is also quite rough in places, although I think the voxel and cartoon style suits the game surprisingly well. The colourful visuals make the violence feel more playful than serious, and there is no blood or gore to distract from the fast action. The game is also free to play, which makes it much easier for me to recommend trying the current version without expecting a finished multiplayer shooter. The separate Hell.Net account and reliance on online servers are worth keeping in mind too. Overall, I think FIGHT LIKE HELL has a solid foundation for a fast arena FPS. I liked the constant movement, quick weapon switching, Lighthook and stealth equipment, and the one versus one format makes every mistake feel important. It is clearly still missing a lot of the content planned for the finished game, but the core combat is fun enough that I can see the potential. For a free Early Access game, I think it is worth checking out if I enjoy fast multiplayer shooters and do not mind playing something that is still being developed. Rating: 6.6/10
