the next episodes that you pay for have more to offer, i know, but i was expecting something a little more for an introduction. home alone isn't intended to be a demo, and while it's a good opening into what to expect from fears to fathom in terms of atmosphere and ideas, it's a little lacking. aside from the realistic portrayal of how it felt to be home alone at 14 and the little things like
noticing the back door slightly ajar and the old man walking up the stairs from the corner of your eye while eating on the couch
, there's nothing else to comment on. and not knowing whether or not your microphone is connected to the game, 0 settings, walking up the stairs being clunky and slow for some reason... i guess it's alright, but eh. the actually good episodes being paywalled is neither good, nor bad, just a desicion that exists and was made. play it for what it's worth, you can complete it in 30 minutes
Buenardo. 10/10
scared the ♥♥♥♥ out of me
Fun way to spend a bit of free time. It is frustrating to restart the entire episode if you die, but it isnt too long of a game so its not a big problem. Wish it was more obvious on what to do when the window shatters, though, because i found a lot of people (myself included) got stuck on that. (you gotta go out to the hall, wait for the door to your parents room to open, then run back to your room and shut the door and hide)
I was so freaking scared at the beginning fr
