My Playtime: 12.8h (100% achievement, finished the game) Grindy Achievement(s): Yes (1+ achievement). Optional Achievement(s): Yes (9 achievements). Difficult Achievement(s): No.
Intro
Fawn The Florist is an idle game where you plant flowers to get money and exp. It's a game that you can place on the bottom of your taskbar and will play by itself, depending on how you configure your farm. Pros: - 21 quests to keep you busy - A lot of flowers and critters to unlock - Freedom to place the flowers and critters however you want Cons: - No more content after you reach level 14, despite it having level 20 as its max level Specs AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, 16GB RAM, AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT
Should you play this game?
If you want to play an idle game that can be finished fairly quickly, play this game.

In-Depth Review

The Game
The game starts with a tutorial, letting you know how the game works before leaving you on your own. The gameplay is simple: you just need to place the plants, water, and harvest them once they are ready. More expensive flowers will give more yield, although you need to plant cheaper ones before you can afford them. The gameplay loop revolves around placing the most expensive flower you can afford in the field, and replacing them all once you run out of space until you cover the whole farm with the most expensive flower. In order to automate the game, it introduces critters who will do the heavy lifting. There are three critters with different specialties: watering, harvesting, and collecting. The latter one's task was simply to collect the currencies that dropped once you finished harvesting the flowers. They all can be upgraded up to level 10, which will make them work more efficiently. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3705915661 The currency that you used to upgrade the critters and buy the flowers is the same, meaning that you must prioritize which one you should get first. This same currency is also used to purchase fields, which will allow you to place more flowers and/or critters. The nearby fields will be cheaper, while the faraway ones will be more expensive. The number of upgrades is large enough to fill everything with at least 3 of all plant varieties. Playing the game can be overwhelming at first due to the number of unlocks and items, but the game does a good job of handling this through the quests. There are 21 quests in total, which will guide you to progress through the game. By the time you finish all quests, you should know what to do to 100% the game. It actually will say that you have finished the game once you reach that point, although you still need to do more things to get all achievements. These are the last stretch of the game, which will take a longer time to finish—as a comparison, you'll finish the game at level 14, but there is an achievement to reach level 20, and you must idle for ~7h to do it. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3671919599 The game doesn't do a good job of explaining the in-game setting, though. I found the default zoom to be too intrusive on my screen since it covers 1/4 of my screen height. I didn't know that you can zoom in and out of it, although I eventually prefer it not to be placed permanently on top of my screen since the animation ruins my concentration. The UI to remove an object can also be confusing. There will be a shovel icon on the top-right corner when you can remove an object, making me think that I pressed the wrong option. Moreover, there is no bulk removal—I needed to press the trash icon again from the menu to remove another object. Length and Difficulty I finished the game in 5.6h. I continued playing the game—mostly by idling—to get the rest of the achievements. I ended up 100%ing the game in 12.8h. The game is easy to finish since you just need to idle—the worst that you'll get is that you'll finish the game longer than the others.
Conclusion
Despite its short playtime, Fawn The Florist was still a nice game. The start can be a bit overwhelming since there will be a lot of things to do, although it will eventually slow down to the point that you only need to AFK to 100% the game. The short playtime is quite unusual for an idle game, although I prefer it to be this way. I could recommend it if you want to play a short idle game.

It was such a cute game I could not drop it. The achievements are simple and can be easily completed. My only complaint it does not have replay ability and its short. The game is free and will be on the lookout for more!
Fawn the Florist, ekranınızın alt kısmında yer alan, çalışırken, ders çalışırken veya dinlenirken sizin için huzurlu bir bahçe arkadaşı görevi gören, rahatlatıcı bir boş zaman oyunudur.
Similar to games like Rusty's retirement, Voodoo Garden, and many more corner/idle games that stay on one side of your screen. This game also has good potential, the only annoying part is after Level 14, you just have to wait till level 20 to get your last achievement. Huge potential, needs proper scaling.
a free-to-play wanna-be Rusty's Retirement. it offers 31 achievements and it's Profile Features Limited? the graphic design is so much cuter than Rusty, yet the playable content is way less than Rusty. the first 10 achievements are easy to get within the first 30min gameplay unlocking new item and levels takes more time starting from level 9, very grinding -_- no auto save, no auto save, no auto save, 重要事情说三遍 even word document and spreadsheet auto-save nowadays My long play hours main because that I was this close to level 20 (the last achievement for 100% the game) while playing another game that doesn’t have a Quit option, so bought up Ctrl+Alt+Delete then accidentally clicked Signing Out rather than Task Manager, this game file closed without save... now it's back to the grinding level 10, I played the other game once more while letting the flowers grow, Ctrl+Alt+Delete accidentally did Singing Out again, back to level 10 again
Lovely game very much like Plantera. Nice music, visuals and gameplay. I want to hug this game.
Fawn the Florist is a nice and easy-to-learn game, especially for female users. The flowers have average artwork. Once you buy the snail, bee and moth, you can play idly. The game screen is about half of the normal computer screen but there are some bugs and crash a bit when reading the mail.
For a bottom scroller, it takes up too much space and wants to override too much.
