Bad server connections cause large rating deduction. Cannot believe with so few people play, the server still suffers connection problems. Stupid Connection Problems. In addition, players still cannot save replays. Very stupid!
A good chess variant, although there are a few things one needs to get used to. Comparing to Chess Evolved Online, there are far less "king blob" pieces, but also far less unique abilities overall (on the pieces themselves -- there are "tokens", which are basically spells you can use in-game, though putting these in your army reduces the amount of points you can use to formulate your army with actual pieces). There is no turn limit (which is effectively what CEO's morale system is, although there are ways to circumvent or mitigate it), and you DO lose if you lose your King (unlike CEO). There are a few different King types and something called "domain victory" (have your King in the opponent's back rank for a turn wins you the game). You can lose by move repetition, which it doesn't warn you about, which is a bit irritating. Daily challenges, like CEO's, are mostly random BS that are absurdly easy or "hope the computer player lets you win" "impossible" (well, WOULD be impossible if not for the computer opponent's occasional ridiculousness). Rather than intermittent log-in boxes (CEO), there are daily quests, which range from just playing a few games (whether you win or lose), winning some games, capturing a number of pieces or winning before turn 30 (the last of which has an absurdly low reward considering the difficulty relative to the other quests). It didn't take me long to get all the available pieces (it says I'm at something like 98%, but that includes copies of Tokens that I'm never going to use one of, much less several), and it has a crafting system that you can use to create pieces that you are missing (if you have enough "dust", which you can get from (among other things) destroying superfluous pieces). You can only have a maximum of two of the same champion (as opposed to four for CEO), and there is a reserve board (a space below the board that you can introduce pieces from, or, with a specific Token, move pieces to). TL;DR: see the first line of this post.

No matter what kind of chess it is, how can a chess piece kill the king? it is even not a checkmate.
Good game, annoying password reset/account recovery. Oh wait it DOSENT WORK!
