super bueno, muy entretenido para jugar con amigos
This game is peak. It's so fun I've been playing it just alone and it's a lot of fun.
i remember looking through the first-person-shooter games for one that doesn't lean so much into realism. this one is a perfect fit. there are satisfying synergies with spells and upgrades to wreck huge crowds of enemies, and when you do that, your character goes WHOOOEEEE! HAHAHA! early access means the fun will only get bigger and better
one of the best games i've played
It's early access yes. For early access game it is quite polished performance and graphics wise. However... some things are just not balanced well, like new melee weapons. Grinding them is annoying, and when you cap level on say the lasso, with the right jokers you're unkillable. The difficulty spikes seem insanely random due to bad ghost house spawns that screw you over when someone triggers a storm (harder modes). Some map layouts are frustrating due to canyons and it's difficult to find your position regarding elevation, let alone a way out. Yes I see the bright glowing lights on ropes. Doesn't make it less annoying. Maybe it's just punishment for going fast. Maybe the horse controls are supposed to feel this... floaty with terrible drift. Either way, it's a design choice I presently don't enjoy. Allow mount diversity via jokers or something. After you've done something, it feels like there's nothing to do. I don't find the repetition in POIs engaging. It is also frustrating to deal with when I feel like I can't see anything during wave events. Genuinely I don't find it fun just getting repeatedly blown up instantly due a horseman, shrieker, and sniper triangulating me. Is this, again, a punishment for certain Joker builds? Yes and no. Here's the reality: I don't want to feel forced into a build because I haven't prestiged. Everything should be viable. It's not. As a result, I am flat out bored of the grind. You're going to add fishing by popular demand. Great! I hope that comes with more balance changes. I want this game to succeed, but the gameplay loop as of this review is just SO boring. I'm just jumping around from point to point for... not much honestly. Like, I don't even really care for skins and titles. Cosmetics shouldn't be the only reward, yet you have unlocks and prestieging right? I suppose I'm super over that system. Blame Warframe, I don't know. The characters, environment, secrets, I see all of that flourishing and coming together very well. The NPCs will be great to interact with. It just feels so empty to me in its current state. You need to let me recollect graves for a daily or something. Grinding weapon levels by using it repeatedly is so annoying. I'm falling asleep after 1hr/1 session. Novelty wears out super quick. I am not pleased with the roadmap as it does not address my primary issues with the gameplay loop.
Maybe some Clankers aint too bad
YEEHAW!
очень понравилось динамично весело задорно. миниган делает брбрбрбрбр а склеты умирают супер
Fantastic game, the loop is very enjoyable and it runs smoothly with friends!
A good Early Access game with good atmosphere, possibility for different playstyles and a good deal of interesting minigames and permanent map-missions for unlocking new passive bonuses or cosmetics. The roadmap looks nice too, which will make this game even better. Solo players can play it in theory, but it is designed as duo or team game. While the videos were full of action nonstop, the real game allows breaks. Which are needed. as you sometimes need to fortify your position or heal up, get new ammunition.
The good...
1) Very nice balance of high tension moments and relaxing riding towards the sunset ;) 2) Overall good music and nice designs 3) Different playstyles depending on chosen weapons and "Joker" passive effects. 4) Adjustable difficulty, which does not only make it harder but offers different foes 5) This is how quests should be! Creative Minigames make them fun. And more.
The bad
1) The only real problem is the long term motivation. Eventually you unlocked all weapons and joker bonuses that are relevant for you and then you can try to complete the full set of jokers, or level up every one of the currently 5 skillset - but thats not really super fun right? Increasing the games difficulty level is always an option, as it gives a very different feel of gaming with new enemies next to the higher difficulty itself. But as you can change the difficulty voluntarily this is not really improving long term motivation. More content will help, as after 10-20 hours you may know most minigames inside out and the roadmap gives some ideas about improvements.
and the ugly
1) Some missions can cost a lot of time making you ride through the whole map. It gets a lot better when playing with friends, rather then solo.
Quintessence
I believe that Far Far West is already a good game and it will get better. Great Atmosphere, something i miss in a lot of games that focus on patterns rather the overall feeling. Seeing how my horse turns different at different speeds is cool. Again, i do not really recommend it for Solo players, it is fine but it is meant for teamplay. Watching each others back is required for conquering the harder difficulties.
