Incredibly fun horde shooter! To sum up this game, it's a game about spell casting, robot, cowboys fighting against the undead.
Music is incredible! Extraction music is the same tempo as your horse and everyone's ears deserved to be blessed with listening to that song.
Gameplay is fun fast paced combo between DRG and Titanfall. With unique interesting weapons that all feel great to use much like those of DRG. Survival and movement being slightly similar to Titanfall in that you will be b-hopping around playing the game of "the floor is lava".
Each mission you go into a map with randomised objective locations and several extra activities to do on each map, complete at least the main objective to anger the boss and then go to the boss to take it down. Upon defeating the boss you must make it to extraction to retain all the gold and souls you gathered in the mission. During missions you can gather cards (called Jokers) from various ways which give you a variety of boosts, effects and changes to how you will interact with combat and the level. Combining all this with spells that can be used in combos and elements which have different interactions and combos on enemies, leads to a fun and chaotic time.
The game is not afraid to really throw the horde at you for example throwing 3-4 minibosses summoned from a harder miniboss while roughly 50-100 grunt enemies swarm you at the same time. All the while the music is blaring in the background and the adrenaline is pumping!
Finally the art style of everything just completes it all. This game is fun to look at, fun to play and fun to listen to. The devs continue to add to this fun with new maps, spell, elements and jokers so it will only get better with time.
I hope anyone that reads this gives this game a chance because it is up there as one of my favourite games of all time!
