Very underrated game
Very interesting and engaging. I have a lot of interest in anthropology, and this feels like a light engagement with it. The gameplay mechanics had to be aligned with other games in this franchise, so it didn’t feel 100% prehistoric. Yet, as a game, it does justice. A softer, non-violent version could even be used in schools during anthropology lessons.
This game sucks donkey balls. It's cheesy, it's lame, the gameplay is mediocre, there are longwinded spirit dream sequences you can't skip and are intolerable to sit through, and you have to use Ubisoft's stupid launcher on top of everything else. I got it on sale for $3.74 and it wasn't even worth that.
I punched a mammoth with a stick because apparently that's a normal Tuesday in the Stone Age. Far Cry Primal is basically "unga bunga simulator," and somehow it's amazing. I started the game with nothing, then five minutes later I had a pet wolf, a bear, and enough spears to solve all my problems. There are no guns, but honestly, throwing a spear at someone from 30 meters away is way more satisfying. Also, every animal in the forest has a personal mission to ruin your day. I couldn't walk ten steps without getting attacked by something with too many teeth.
so tuff
