I punched a mammoth with a stick because apparently that's a normal Tuesday in the Stone Age. Far Cry Primal is basically "unga bunga simulator," and somehow it's amazing. I started the game with nothing, then five minutes later I had a pet wolf, a bear, and enough spears to solve all my problems. There are no guns, but honestly, throwing a spear at someone from 30 meters away is way more satisfying. Also, every animal in the forest has a personal mission to ruin your day. I couldn't walk ten steps without getting attacked by something with too many teeth.
