Far Cry® 6

A very fun game

Comparing Far Cry 6 to Far Cry 5 makes it feel like two completely different companies made them. The fifth game felt like it was made by passionate people, while the sixth feels like it was put together by completely incompetent devs who just don't care. I feel like the $30 I spent went straight into the trash. The only saving grace is playing with a friend, which at least makes it fun. However, in just 8 hours of playtime, I've been kicked from my friend's server six times. Come on, bro, what the hell? On top of that, their Ubisoft launcher is absolute garbage. It is so ass that half the time it won't even let you log in, and when their servers inevitably go down, you can't even play the game at all. Also, did any of the developers actually test the helicopters and planes? In Far Cry 5, flying was smooth and intuitive. In Far Cry 6, it feels like you're trying to fly using a TV remote control. That brings me to the main issue: connection. Every other modern game has zero issues with co-op, but Ubisoft's system completely sucks. All I get are "connection lost" errors, broken servers, and constant ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. While Far Cry 3, 4, and 5 are amazing games, the 6th entry honestly deserves to be called "Fart Cry." The combat logic makes no sense either. Trying to destroy an enemy helicopter with an AP machine gun takes 400 bullets to do absolutely nothing, but a single grenade instantly goes boom. Then there's the terrible decision to add a ranking system. Enemies turn into total bullet sponges and won't die just because of their rank. Even headshots don't always take them down. Far Cry 6 is easily the worst game in the franchise right now. There is still some fun to be had, but if the launcher and servers didn't crash every five minutes, it would be a much better and more comfortable experience.
