Fantastic Pinball Thrills

어린 시절에 했던 핀볼이 떠오른다. 친구 집에 모여 플레이를 구경하던 추억. 실수하면 좋아하고, 서로의 점수를 비교하며 즐기던 날. 라고 말하지만, 과연 이 가격에 어울리는지 의문이 든다. 서로의 화면을 공유하면서 먼저 죽는 사람이 패배하는 규칙으로 한다면 경쟁도 하고 재미도 느낄 수 있지않을까? 추천 의향은 없다.

This is an OK pinball game. I recommend it only for those who are not pinball snobs though and only on sale. Non-proportional stretching of the item models on my widescreen appear to make things look slightly squished vertically, ball physics are definitely off, the music is very repetitive after a bit, and the ball is fairly dark for some reason. The 6 tables included seem to include minimal modes and mini-games so, no, it's not comparable to Real Arcade or Pinball FX 2, so just be aware of that up front. That said, the controls work well for keyboard and 360 gamepad, and it even has one feature that the big boys don't: you can enter your highscore name with the keyboard. Maybe they could learn something from this after all. :)

Fantastic Pinball Thrills is another pinball table simulator, which should be a free ride to a modest level of success. Unfortunately the developers here seem to have gone out of their way to fail. Despite a Steam release in 2015, the game doesn't properly support widescreen resolution, so the aspect ratios are skewed. Given the game is "pinball" and not "pinwatermelon", the skewed aspect is gamebreaking. Secondly for some reason they think people play pinball by squatting down to tabletop height so you can see the whole table in one view, which just makes the thing look terrible. I don't know how it's possible to screw up a simple premise so badly. I can't recommend spending $5 on failure.

I got this from the Walmart clearance shelf for a dollar and I still feel ripped off

[h1]mediocre pinball[/h1] This is as bad as it looks in the screenshots. What the screenshots don't show is how bad the audio design is - the game is full of cheesy stock sound effects (including a very LOUD woman's scream on the Castle board) and the same "ball LOST!" voice is used on each table regardless of theme. The physics feel off, and the bumpers and kickers are very weak. There doesn't seem to be a camera option to follow the ball as it moves. You only get to choose what angle you see the bland looking board from. The game works, but with much better pinball games on Steam why would you waste money on this?

I cannot find the old Microsoft pinball game that came included on old computers. This is pretty close. I turn off the music and go at it. Lots of time wasting fun. Most games played with the airplane mode.
