Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition

Played on Linux (Debian 13) Fallout 3 is a great game. I played the whole thing in first person view and it makes a really good first person shooter. I liked the overall story. The missions are pretty fun including the side missions. There's lots of room to customize your character and more loot, guns and gear than you could possibly need. I found that the game atmosphere was quite similar to the first two but in a more immersice environment.

Back when Bethesda still made good games Pros: -great exploration and locations -interesting characters/quests -BOS, Pitt, and point lookout DLC are great -V.A.T.S. -Great translation of old school Fallout into 3D -meaningful character builds Cons: -frequent crashes as your save gets longer -Zetan dlc runs terribly -gunplay has not aged well
