Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition

this game blows ass. my hours dont count xbox hours and Bethesda's launcher hours. ive played this game far longer. its ok, just really unbalanced. just play new vegas or something. or wait for the remaster. lowkey not the best place to start for fallout.

This is one of the greatest games of all time. The atmospheric dread is insane. Engine is dated though using VATS makes up for it.

The game works flawlessly on Steam Deck. More or less constant 90 Hz. Would recommend dropping to 60 Hz in order to move camera around player to inspect armor, weapons, etc. Will always have lots of love for this game, let's hope the remaster is faithful.

8/10, incredible. I honestly love Fo3 and cannot, for the life of me, grasp why people hate it so much. The combat is fun, the wasteland and its inhabitants are amazing to discover, the general story from side quests to main story line are some of the most fun you'll have in this game. Upon writing this review I technically have 3 DLC left (Point Lookout, Broken Steel and Mothership Zeta) and I cannot wait to get started on them and further see what this incredible game has to offer. I did read about how this game can be "unplayable" however the only thing that ever truly affected my playthrough was having to disable shadows in the Pitt DLC and ever since then it's worked relatively fine on my gaming laptop

13 hours I spent revisiting this wasteland so far. I've played fallout 3 countless times on my 360 and now owning it on PC. Always worth a sale or to get the franchise bundle *on sale* because this game franchise has been a beautiful idea since conception

dosent work ive spent like 4 hours trying every single fix under the sun wont work dont waste you sanity on this devs ruined it

its a good game
