ATTENTION ! GROSSE ARNAQUE ! WARNING ! BIG SCAM! The developer of Factory Runner prefers to release identical games on the same model rather than updating Factory Runner which has a lot of bugs and which will therefore never be finished! In addition, he writes false positive reviews of all these games that he has created, finally to inflate the rating of positive reviews of these games! Here you are warned ....
-Overview-
Factory Runner is a game in which you become a manager of a chemical and equipment store. Your goal is over time to grow and end up buying and running a factory. The game hasa pretty good concept however it is poorly worked. And sadly I might say that was one of the worst games that I had ever the opportinity to play. ✔Pros: + Good Concept. ❌Cons: - The Visuals are crappy; - The Gameplay is really, really problematic; - Isn't well optimized.
-Going Deeper-

Rating: 27/100
🕹Gameplay Its gameplay is simply problematic. Factory Runner presents an interesting concept and it would be very nice if it had the opportunity to be properly implemented. Starting with what I've been noting during my experience. When I entered the game, I had a weird box showing and saying to press X. That took me to a 'menu' that indicates some key binds. At first glance I thought it wouldn't be anything special, but when I noticed the words spit and piss I started to get a little worried. These are the kinds of things that I think are extremely insignificant in a game like Factory Runner. A game in which the goal is by and simply manage a store. After this strange start, I began to take the first steps, which already led me to another problem. The movement is strange, it doesn't seem normal. Every step you take is like the character is putting a foot in a hole, and when you jump, it looks like you almost gonna fly I left the apartment where Factory Runner starts, without any kind of tutorial to explain key binds or the purpose of the game. Until I got to the end of the stairs and was bombarded with a debuting weird pop-up explaining to me that I should follow the signs and go to the store. Upon arriving at a given store I got another pop-up explaining to me how the store worked, that is, if I had the door open I would receive customers. It was also stated that if any kind of material to sell is need, go to another store to get picked up. As if it made sense to be buying equipment in a store to sell it next. And that was the tutorial of Factory Runner, until the end never appeared to be any kind of explanation of how to do things. To reach the different destinations that are needed to replace the shop products a car is provided. That I probably point as the best think of the whole game. It's fun to drive. After playing a few time, I started noticing the thousands of bugs and glitches that the game has. The best case that I could see, was getting about 20 NPCs just looking forward to nothing. Another good example was after I get tired, I just stopped recovering stamina. Initially, I thought it would be because I was hungry and sleepy, but in the end, I realized that it wasn't really that but a bug. It is important to inform that Factory Runner appears to be forgotten, that is, all the problems mentioned will probably never be resolved. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2306474095 📽Audio & Visuals At the visual level, simply horrendous. Factory Runner is what I consider an ugly game. Initially, after seeing the first images of the game, I was hopeful that it would even be reasonably good. However, in the end was a ambiguous spot to point out. The house where the game starts is nothing special and even makes it look like the game won't be that bad. But when I left the house is I looked at the first buildings, I understood everything. Inside it looked like I was in a reasonably expensive apartment, when I left I realized I was in a ghetto. The walls all falling does not match what the game wants to do. It would be better if Factory Runner actually happens in a city. Another point, but I rather say that this one is very problematic, is the NPC's. The game only features 3 different character design types. On an audio level, I don't think that is bad, however they sound weird. It's just weird the sound of Factory Runner. Sometimes at least to me, it seemed to me that some movements were higher than others. Other than that nothing to report https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2309477683
Technical Details
I played this game with: Intel Core i7-8750H; NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1660 Ti; 16,00 GB Ram - I had a pretty negative expirience. I couldn't get more than 60 fps. For a game like Factory Runner it is pretty bad and shows that the game is badly optimized. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!!!! I have played enough to know that this DEV has no plans to do any further updates and this game needs A LOT OF IMPROVEMENTS! I enjoy the aspects of the game, running my own business, and growing it, however, there is still room for improvements on the game.
I don't understand all the positive reviews. This game should be marked early access. The $28Cdn price tag is a joke, this game is barebones and makes no sense. It's a chemical store right? So why am given things like plastic containers, welding machines, and trash bins to sell? Why am I given all this at the start? Not to mention the "funny" parts of the game are just annoying, such as an obnoxious burping sound when you drink something. What am I an 8 year old? Those who have played My Summer Car will know parts of that game had some similar comedy to it, but this game goes over the top with it, and it's especially annoying when it's marketed as a business management game while MSC plainly states it's part redneck sim. I put half an hour into this and I'm already about to request a refund. A 10$ price tag could be reasonable but almost 30$ is highway robbery for where it's at right now. I know the game just came out less than a month ago, and that there is only 1 developer, but none of that justifies the price. I'll keep an eye on the game and maybe it'll be worth it down the road, but if the price doesn't drop this game is going to tank hard.
I had no idea I liked (to the point of being obsessed) to neatly organize stuff until now. Thanks for OCD ! On a more serious note, this game gives you SATISFACTION and it's fun! You start by hands on managing a hardware shop and get the cash rolling in without much hassle You will probably start organizing your inventory to make it easier and faster to sell your products Once you manage to buy the truck you will be able to carry an absurd amount of resources/trip (no more 5 stacks of boxex on the hood of your starter car) Factory is the endgame for now, as you can make more money than you need. But it seems the updates roll faster than you can advance, so this is probably gonna be an obsolete sentence in a short time. Everything you do will help you get closer to that personal goal you decided on Graphics -8/10 Unreal engine Gameplay -9/10 Content -10/10 Difficulty -Casual Pro: +++ Relaxing, fun and satisfying gameplay with a sense of increment +++ Stable (even if clunky when resetting vehicles at full speed or accidentaly driving over your neatly stacked boxes ) +++ Game is being updated frequently +++ Dev. listens to the growing community! *a rare trait ++ You can drift +++++++ You can make a cardboard boxes fort [kickass] Cons: Game makes me want to pee more often for some *unknown reason
I am going to give this a thumbs up, but only buy it if it's $12 or less. For most gamers it will not be worth the $25 price tag, unless you are hardcore into these types of games. This game does do a lot of fun things that other games in the genre do not. For one, it has survival aspects, well kind of, you have to eat, drink, and urinate. Yep you can piss anywhere you want at no cost it seems. Off a building, towards a person, in your store, on your merchandise, it doesn't matter, relive is all that counts. The food and drinks soon become more of an annoyance than anything, but I am still glad they included it in the game. Secondly you can slap anyone, yep that is right… is there someone standing in your path? Slap Slap Slap. Did you get a customer in wanting items you don't have? Slap Slap Slap. It's satisfying as hell and doesn't seem effect them or the game at all, The main game loop is selling items from your store to incoming customers. You start with a nice stock of items, and will spend the first few days shelving it and moving it all into your store. When a customer comes in you see what they want and move the items onto the counter to complete the sale. Soon your inventory will be depleted and you will have to drive to a nearby store to restock. You buy it and then haphazardly place it in the back of your truck and take it back to the store. As you complete each sale, your reputation goes up, bring in more and more customers, if you don't have the items or are too slow, the customer leaves and you lose rep. You can buy a bigger truck, and even a factory to produce and sell goods. I haven't got to that portion of the game yet, but it does interest me. You can tell the Dev put a ton of work into the details and fun aspects of the game. The apartment is overly furnished and well done, especially compared to the surrounds. The small details make this game unique and interesting, even though it's silly and out of place at times. Here is my first 60 minutes of game play. https://youtu.be/iR_ztd6HNoI

[th]If you enjoyed my review join my steam group. I am so very glad i managed to by all 3 of his games for just £3 its all there worth he has put the same update out for 3 or 4 times now has the feeling of a big money grab scam
I like the game and the concept is great, but the developers do not seem to care about the game at all. With rare updates and no communication the game seems to have died.
this game is crap its not worth one cent don't buy!
