I like this game a lot, but please be aware, that if the coop career is the main reason why youre buying it, the 2026 pack doesn´t include this mode. Its a really big dealbreaker.

Like almost every EA game, the core gameplay is amazing- best in class- but, like almost every EA sports game there are game-breaking mechanics that are key to gameplay and that they fail to ever fix. In this game it's the bots you play against- they are so much faster in a straight line that you can lose half a second on a long straight even if your car is maxed out. Same with driving in the rain- they are hardly affected whilst you are puttering around trying not to spin out. Another glaring issue is, like every EA sports game, with their various career modes- the commentators and everyone else has like two things to say about each track or any situation as if that won't get boring AF after a season- but EA doesn't care, they want you playing online modes where they can squeeze more pennies out of you. Truly despicable. Like most EA sports games, I will keep playing for hundreds more hours and mostly enjoy it, but these little ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ are unacceptable from a company as large as EA. If this is your first F1 game, you'll like it- it feels good to drive and though i'm giving it a thumbs down, i still recommend getting it. lemme know if you want to do a co-op season (which probably also sucks somehow because they want you playing a mode where you'll continue to pay them)
