Doesn’t work on IOS After playing for awhile you will get randomly du pex off the game. You will complain to customer services and you will get boiler plate answer like this one I get twice a day. -Regarding the issue you mentioned, I completely understand your feelings. We have acknowledged this matter and are diligently pursuing enhancements. We greatly appreciate your involvement in our community and the dedication you have shown to Evony. We assure you of our commitment to resolving your concerns and implementing necessary improvements.- Don’t spend a nickel on a game that doesn’t support IOS. Ps it works fine on android apparently.

Bait and Switch…. You barely can play what they show in the previews. You reach a point where it’s so hard to access it without paying money. TOTAL WASTE OF TIME GAME. PLAY DOMINATIONS INSTEAD. I switched to that and never went back. It’s a billion times better.

Fail. I know! we should get a brain dead millennial to create a game where there’s no instructions and you can’t figure out what you’re supposed to do next. Leave the screen completely blank with no menu so that you have to swipe up and quit the program to get it to stop playing. Uninstalled. garbage.

Terrible game Absolutely horrible game. Nothing like the ads whatsoever. “Our ads highlight the mid game content and require dedication to appreciate the depth of the game” no one plays this game for the mid game content or the storyline! People see the ads and want to play those, not watch yall move the goalposts and push the actually exciting content behind a bunch of monotonous garbage. Do not install this, it takes false advertising to a completely new low.

Purge72 I say evony likes taking money but for the ones that can’t spend 100k on a dang game just can’t compete anymore. The game needs something to level the playing field. Evony needs to do something that is for smaller bases only. Allow more t1s. A K50 with 8to 10 k power just rolls over everyone. So you only have a hand full of of people competing at a higher level where you have way more people playing the game.

Game no longer works for iPad as of July 2026 This is an update to my former review. As of about 6 weeks ago the game no longer works for iPad. The game crashes several times per minute regardless of having the current OS and game update. Customer service stated it was a known issue and yet they have been unable to patch the problem yet. I would not recommend this game until it is patched. I have been playing this game for about three years. The game is quite fun with some in depth strategy to how to grow and win. However, it still comes down to who ever pays more wins the game. If you’re not a coiner then there is virtually no tech support. Early on I had a conflict with purchasing a resource package. I selected one and it gave me a different one. The response from tech support was “you got what you paid for.” More recently had a processing glitch and lost around three months of resources. Response from tech support was nothing, got ghosted after they asked for info which was provided in the original request, including screen shots. In summary, good game, greedy company, and no tech support unless you are a big spender.

Game was great until it wasn’t The constant updates make it so that apple products can’t handle the data. Customer service, while they answer when you reach out, have done nothing to actually fix the issues.

5 Year Experience Firstly, shame on the developers for years of consistent false advertising. None of the advertised mechanics appear in-game. That said, I have played this game for over 5 years because I joined an alliance with the kindest people who became like family. We even held a memorial when one of us passed away in real life. One last criticism: pay-to-play people often end up becoming bullies too powerful for anyone to stand up to. There should be limits on abusive players. The ability to chat with people all around the world with instant translations is also a wonderful feature. Thanks for the friendships! Goodbye!

Newest Servers The newest servers’ beginning play is horrible. You are stuck inside your keep, with no view whatsoever, of the actual server. There is not even a chat, to read. There is no indication of how long it lasts, before being able to judge whether or not that server is even decent.
