Note: Dead PvP game This game contains no meaningful single player content. There are no available servers and no player population. This game cannot be played as intended.
The Russian developers behind this cleverly came up with an entirely new idea for a video game by shamelessly ripping off games like Hunt: Showdown, this asymmetrical PvP game has one player as the monster and the rest trying to survive/kill the baddy. It's been done before, much better than this. So, Escape from Labyrinth is a dead PvP game. Why did it fail? It's video game autopsy time! Almost every PvP exclusive game on Steam fails. Only a tiny proportion of them "go viral". This game failed for many of the same reasons those others fail. The chief of which is the developer thinking that their game will "go viral" without actually creating any reason for it do so. Competition amongst PvP centric games is extreme, and there's only a finite player base to appeal to. This game failed to reach any kind of critical mass and died as a result. Let's go into some of the reasons this particular game failed to appeal to gamers, despite the zero up front cost. First and foremost, there's no meaningful single player content. The developer gambled that other players would be an acceptable substitute for adding storytelling, level design etc to the game. They lost that bet. Without a huge community of players or single player content to add a lasting value to the game, the game dies. Developers must learn that other players are not an acceptable substitute for adding content to a game. I'm not sure if this is an asset flip, but it's one of those cases where the assets just look much better than the rest of the quality of the game... a glaring inconsistency. There's no evidence, but as always, the biggest problem with asset flips besides the plagiarism is the deplorably low quality of the other aspects of the game, and even if the game assets are genuinely created for the game, the quality of the rest of the game is indistinguishable from that of asset flips. It's free... now, but it wasn't before. The developer was charging $7 USD for this. Price barriers, especially on low quality products, can be a direct cause of failure. It's a nice gesture for the game to be given away for free, but it also tells us that the game wasn't good enough to succeed as a paid product. Despite having no up-front cost, this failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at just a dozen or so concurrent players, and now there's basically nobody playing it. Even though it's free. This is a dismal public reception, but it's easy to see why gamers rejected it. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough.
Before I played Escape from Labyrinth, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
worst game ever lol most basic thing 1st of all is keybinding.. sadly this doesnt work im left handed mouse user and keybind all but walk kept reset with menu i know it basic game and new but seriously i cant even play as i have take hand off mouse to press left shift to run or space bar my left hand isnt on keyboard bro.. is on mouse fix keybinding then work on perfomance you could have good game. when that time comes i may even stream little to show people it untill then lol
Dead by Daylight на минималках
