Endix is an unusual and ambitious project that attempts to redefine how players experience gaming events online. Developed and published by Endix, the title functions as a virtual convention space where visitors can explore digital exhibition halls, interact with themed booths, and discover upcoming games in a more engaging way than simply watching trailers or browsing store pages. Rather than presenting information through static menus, the game places players directly inside a shared environment designed to capture the excitement and energy of attending a real-world gaming expo. What immediately stands out is the focus on exploration. The convention is built around the idea that discovering new games should feel like an adventure rather than a routine search through an online catalog. Players can walk through different sections of the event, visit exhibits created by participating developers, and uncover projects they may have otherwise overlooked. This approach creates a stronger sense of involvement because the process of finding new games becomes part of the entertainment itself. The attention given to booth design is another notable strength. Each featured game receives its own customized presentation area, allowing developers to showcase their projects with unique visual themes and interactive elements. Instead of relying entirely on screenshots and promotional text, the exhibits are designed to communicate the personality and atmosphere of the games they represent. This gives the convention floor a sense of variety, making each section feel distinct and worth investigating. Multiplayer functionality also plays an important role in shaping the overall experience. Endix is not intended to be explored in isolation; it encourages social interaction through shared spaces and customizable avatars. Seeing other attendees walking around the convention center adds life to the environment and helps recreate the feeling of attending a busy gaming event. Friends can explore together, discuss upcoming releases, and share recommendations, which strengthens the community aspect of the platform. One of the most interesting ideas behind Endix is its support for independent developers. Smaller studios often struggle to gain attention in a crowded marketplace, and the game's convention format provides an alternative avenue for visibility. By placing players in a dedicated discovery-focused environment, Endix gives lesser-known projects an opportunity to stand alongside more recognizable titles. This creates a beneficial relationship where developers gain exposure while players are introduced to games they might never have found through traditional browsing methods. The interactive nature of the event further separates it from standard online showcases. Many digital conventions rely heavily on prerecorded videos and announcements, but Endix seeks to make participation more active. Visitors can engage with demonstrations, explore themed environments, and interact with various elements throughout the exhibition space. This added level of involvement helps prevent the experience from feeling like a simple marketing platform and instead turns it into something that resembles a game in its own right. Visually, the project favors creativity and thematic presentation over technical realism. The environments are designed to reflect the styles of the games being showcased, resulting in a convention space filled with diverse aesthetics and imaginative layouts. This variety helps maintain interest throughout longer play sessions, as players are constantly encountering new visual ideas and concepts while moving through the venue. The game's success ultimately depends on continued participation from developers and the regular introduction of fresh content. The foundation is certainly promising, but a convention platform can only remain relevant if there are compelling exhibits and new experiences for visitors to explore. Fortunately, the core concept is strong enough to support future growth, especially as more developers seek innovative ways to connect with audiences in a digital setting. Endix succeeds because it understands that discovering games can be just as exciting as playing them. By combining social interaction, exploration, and interactive presentations into a single package, it creates a digital convention that feels far more engaging than a traditional online showcase. While it may not completely replace the atmosphere of a physical gaming expo, it offers a convincing alternative that is accessible to players around the world. For gaming enthusiasts who enjoy finding new titles and experiencing community-driven events, Endix presents a creative and forward-thinking vision of what virtual conventions can become. Some of the booths were very well designed - the ones with extra work done on them I got a kick out of the most
Endix is a great idea for discovering indie games and connecting directly with developers without having to fly across different locations in person. It creates a much more accessible way for players, creators, and indie studios to interact, share feedback, and showcase upcoming projects. The platform has a lot of potential for both indie developers looking for exposure and creators wanting to discover hidden gems they might otherwise never come across.
Reminds me of PlayStation Home back in the day on Playstation 3. Interesting concept. Keep up the good work.
Love being able to see new and upcoming indies for free.
It's not the first virtual convention that I've seen, but the Endix Team seems to be pioneering a new way to attend gaming conventions and for indies to get some authentic recognition. It's a great way to actually meet the developers of the games you play and make a real connection. As a content creator, it makes it easy to stay on schedule and network at the same time without having to travel and pay a big chunk of my yearly income to go. There are a lot of ways Endix can be improved, but I can tell the team is working hard to deliver and make adjustments with every event.
Amazing Expo and Amazing people! can't wait for the next one!
It was fun, particularly liked the Alienware Climb.Couldn't get the game to launch last night so missed the free keys but nice gesture from Indie Game devs!
